knew it was never gonna work in the long term from the very beginning tbh - surprised SAF went for him when you factor in the problems we had with Ruud towards the end of his time with us

BUT he's a top bloke, never once complained or whinged to the press when he of all people has more right to when you factor in the goals scored

although my one regret is we never got to see the Berbs at Tottenham at United :(

hope he finds a more suitable club!

Twighlight zone stuff, lol

Sometimes I feel like I'm slipping into a parallel universe while browsing this place,

Swear I said a last month that we'd make two or 3 signings this summer and was rebbutted by a ranting post of compactly made up of capital letters, now the same guy is saying the exact same thing that he was ranting about,

I'd like an apology as this saga hurt my feelings greatly,

Anyway for tonight's game, I reckon we can do the business, the right approach stay switched on and get a early goal I.e before the 20 minute Mark,

With the right attitude we can easily go there an score 3 I'm not sure Bilbao can okay better than they did first leg, and after gearing certain Spanish correspondents on the issue they've said the same, coupled with the fact that we were terrible, means surely thus will be a better experience, gonna be an exciting game regardless.

 @ us signing the players we NEED in the positions of weakness - not gonna happen

we'll probs get someone in that can play 3 different positions, then SAF will come out with "im happy with what i got....there's no value....i dont want to block the progress of the kids....there's money there but we choose not to spend for the sake of it" 8-)

Reckon we will sign a defensive midfielder, winger and striker.

Why a winger. We need 1 quality cm and another young hungry striker. And a left back to actually put some pressure on Evra to fix up. These da silva twins are 1 step forwards 2 steps back. They don't seem to be learning how to defend. They've jut got more aggressive.

I dont think Fabio is aggresive at all tbh. Rafael just gets some mad headloss at times that cannot be explained.

They need a run of games desperately. Their in a similar position to what Nani was a few years back. Injuries are a bit of a worry though.

But I wouldnt be surprised and would quite like to see Fabio starting alot more often next season

For me they fall into the Kyle walker brand of full back. Excellent going forward but not natural defenders. They don't sense danger or really understand when they take up dodgy positions.

thats why we never spend on marquee signings anymore

as unimaginative and exciting our squad is at times we always seem to pull it out of the bag in the Prem

problem for us is getting a squad together that isn't soo limp wristed in Europe
