Lol mk you're nit picking. Just admit you think Nani is / is on his way to being a top player. Don't need to pinpoint the exact moment it happened.

TBH, I knew he was a problem the moment he scored that last minute banger against Spurs in the his 1st season, but mandem are talking about MOTM performances & I just wouldn't pick a demolition of Justin Hoyte as a good example, lol.

greatest football experience of my life.

Got in the ground 5 mins late due to traffic.

Couldnt find anyone i knew untill half hour had gone.

Almost collapsed after Platt scored.

was an emotional wreck at h-t

Didnt even cheer when the second goal went in. I got mobbed by about 5 middle aged white guys.

Then they started to play.

We'll ignore those bits though and just keep singing.

Then when we were all rubbing are hands together at the thought of a replay.

Norton robs the stupid keeper.

Spent the next 15 minutes in the ground in a state somewhere between shock and euphoria.

Jerome Wrights celebrations at the end have cemented him in United folklore.

Definitly going to the next round aswell. This cup crap is gonna cost me a fortune.

Fate.

on the possibility of playing United in the 3rd round if we get there. I'd much rather play AFC Wimbledon so we can share the media attention and profits.

Despite the fact that a United vs United game would be hugely symbolic. I know of loads of FC who wouldnt go. 1, paying to go to OT is out of the question for them, 2, playing them at home/bury would mean us having to share half the gate with them. 3, it'd be like paying to see your two sons fight each other.

AFC Wimbledon

Liverpool

Or Leeds would suit us down to the ground.

As for the 2nd round, either a huge tie away.

Or another non league or lowly team away.

Nothing in between thanks.

they'll be drowned out and diluted by the green and gold brigade.

It'd be the biggest anti Glazer protest to date.

One of the Reasons why i dont want it. Is because if we got them, i could see us deciding not to go in the ground but to protest outside it for the 90 minutes.

Leaving our lads without their twelth man, i'd rather just steer clear. I'd love to see FC beat United one day, but i'd hate it at the same time. So i'd rather just avoid the situation.

Since Last January the FC Haters among our support has pretty much been hung out to dry.

As now even the most jaded rose tinted look on the bright side Fan can see whats happening.

however saying that, they will be back in full effect if United so much as attempt to sign a player in January.

A trip to Anfield would be top of my list. Never been there and to go therr with FC would top everything. Even if we got beat 6-0

EXCLUSIVE

By Wayne Veysey | Chief Correspondent

Patrice Evra wants to leave Manchester United at the end of the season and finish his career at Real Madrid, Goal.com UK can reveal.

The Frenchman has opened talks with the club over an extension to his contract, which ends in June 2012, but has told friends that he is still open to a move to Spain.

Evra, who joined United for £5.5 million from Monaco in 2006, is willing to put pen to paper to secure his own future and at the same time help the club maximise their return if they cash in on one of their most saleable assets.

The Glazer family, who own United, have promised manager Sir Alex Ferguson that he will have £50m at his disposal to spend on new players next summer in addition to whatever he generates from player sales.

Ferguson does not want to lose Evra, who is widely regarded as one of the premier left-backs in the world and was a target last summer for Real manager Jose Mourinho.

“Patrice originally wanted to leave in January but now he is happy to sign a new contract and leave at the end of the season,” said a United source. “He is concerned about where the club are heading and is attracted by the possibility of playing for Real, a club he really admires.”

Ironically, the left-back was the most critical United player of Wayne Rooney’s claim last month before his contract U-turn that the 18 times League winners lack ambition, saying that “if one player doesn’t trust the others he should not play in the team”.

The source added: “Evra was the most angry when Rooney said he was going to leave and criticised the quality of the squad but that doesn’t mean he swears blind loyalty to Manchester United. Like any player, he wants what is best for himself and his family and sees Real Madrid as the perfect move.”

could just be his agent on a hype while the negotiations are on going but still

could believe either way of thinking tbh.

He wants more money. (especially after seeing the Rooney saga.

Or he wants the glory of playing among the 2nd coming of the galactico's

Either way, when ppl are talking about loyalty and respect. Those people who mentioned Rooney and Evra as players who'd stay even if United went down, must've been on the booze abit at the time.

The days of us having drama filled contract negotiations are over. We Used to say come to United and you'll win big. But thats not assurance enoug now. And as ive said before, unless your a real fan of the club, only success will breed loyalty.

Hope he stays, and also hope the stories complete bull.

Manchester United are set to sign 15-year-old Mats Moller Daehli this week, according to reports from his native Norway.

The youngster is currently playing for Stabaek in the Norwegian league but could sign for United as early as this week, if the paperwork goes through, reports Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.

If the deal goes through Daehli will join United on February 1, 2011, after a number of successful trials with the club.

Daehli made his national debut for Norway U-15s this summer in Sweden, and two weeks ago played in a tournament in France. Although Norway lost all their games narrowly, Daehli was named player of the tournament.

Stabaek have neither confirmed or denied whether the teenager, who is predominantly a creative midfielder, will join the English club, but do acknowledge the youngster’s talent.Stabaek coach Pal Berg insisted the youngster has "superior technique" and is "an exceptional talent" who can "be a complete player".Daehli currently players for Stabaek’s youth team, but has also joined up with the senior team in training. It is reported Daehli first came to the Reds' attention after one of United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s football academies.
