Also the fact that the Black Rock (the slave ship) is beached right in the middle of the island can be explained that the island was moved in that time period while it was sailing and placed in that particular positionAlso explains why a tropical island has polar bears on it, cuz in the past it may have been based nearer the Artic regionsThey explain one thing and create new questions with another

yeh i been doing some reading on some messageboards and it makes sense1) like how when richard alpert was asking john what items were his, john prob deliberately chose the knife. but that process is the same that they use to see if someone is the dalai lama or something i read (swear i saw something similar in an episode of the simpsons lol)and how richard prob did the same to ben too, but ben did the test right, and thats why he was chosen. they thought the oldest son was the chosen one, but it was the second one2) claire is dead. thats why miles was looking at her funny and sh*t, and let her walk off after her dad, cuz why would he stop a dead woman doing what she wants? how else could she also just jam with christian in the cabin?3) maybe john moves the island, and then, when sayid prob wants to go back and get the rest of them, he cant because the island has been moved

claire seems a bit coked up tbh, would definitely hold a mash episode wasn't as good as others, still good though - I wonder who that black guys is (the one from the wire), thought he might end up being Jacob the way how he's tellin Locke to go on the walkabout thing, and that's what leads him to the island in the end
