Then there's pro licence as well I believe. Uefa A and B are pretty long courses too I think.

Edit- guessing pro licence is only needed for people coaching/managing at certain level??

• The UEFA B course is a 13-day course, culminating in a three-day final assessment.

• It is designed to progress coaches who already hold the L2CCF.

• The extended time of the course provides more opportunities for practical/technical work and increased time for students to coach /receive feedback.

• There is also an increased opportunity for logged coaching time away from the course to help students to develop their coaching experience within their club environment.

13 days is nothing in the grand scheme of things really

Yeah I think you have to do a certain amount of assessed hours coaching a team as well though on top of the 13 days.

May be wrong though

It's 13 days of actual theory, with about 6-9 months of actual coaching with the assessments at the end brehs.

Ain't Bully doing his level 2, he should drop some insight.

Unless a team/academy gets me on a course sometime soon, will definitely start my level 2 in February in Hertfordshire, but gives me ample time to get some proper coaching experience because the pass rate for level 2 is only 40% so it's no cake-walk.

Like Ice said, it's good to just do your level 1, get all the safeguarding children, health & safety shit out the way & plus it actually preps you on what FA tutors want to see from their coaches.

I was planning on doing level 2 before the end of 2011 but I did my level 1 about 5 years ago and aint coached in about 3 to 4 years..

Getting a bit shook that I will flop level 2 now.

C/s ice. Wouldn't really wanna be a manager or coach or whatever more interested in recruitment side of things however I aint really got too many contacts. Got a few but there not really people I could rely on or expect any sort of bringins from so gonna have to go this route to get some.

____>>>>>>>>>> footballers who moan about dumbness mid game

we DEFENDING a corner. I'm marking the short option. I hear screams of "who's got him?" I look to see where he's pointing

there's a guy in THEIR HALF defending in case we counter. i understand it might be a good idea to close him down/push up

but him being open in his own half doesn't warrant theatrical screaming like that.

vent over

So lads end of should be upon us or done for most, how did everyones season turn out?

I can't front my season has been awesome, first season playing saturday ball. Topped the league (first time this team has won the prem) scored 109 goals, conceaded 25 played like 35. Personal stats : Scored 20+ , about 15 ish assists and i must got like 7 penalty's .. Also got a cup final on saturday so the double is on. Ankle is swollen but it's a deep heat, ibuprofen thing... I'm not missing a final

Sunday was pretty poor, i think we finished 4/5th, wasn't too comitted due to saturdays and being pissed on saturday nights. Team was lacking quality in certain places aswell.

Broke my ankle in the semi final of our cup run. First minute ball came to me at the byline some big defender came in with an over the ball challenge and broke my ankle. I limped for a few minutes but didn't realise it was that bad and continued playing. Scored the goal to make it 2-0 and came off with f*ck*ng cramp in the 80th minute of the match, cramp was in the calf of the same leg so without realising i had my teammates pushing down on a broken ankle to get rid of the cramp.

We lost the title race in the next couple of games and i was in a race to be fit for the cup final against the team that won the league, found out a few weeks before the final i had broken my talus (bone in the ankle that holds all your weight) and may need pins put into my ankle :| we went on to lose the cup final 2-0

I finished the season on 6 goals in 16 matches from right back, won us bare penalties  and the team finished joint 3rd with the teams around us having games in hand and us being the first to play out our full season.

Awaiting news on the ankle next month and praying i don't need surgery. Pissed about the ankle and my finger which is now basically messed up for life due to an injury suffered earlier in the season where i broke my finger and the bone set itself further back, cant even make a fist with that hand anymore. Hoping i can play again next season though. We need a proper manager, having one of us (same age) manage the team just causes people to bitch n moan when they don't play every minute of every game
