Ive got an iphone 3G (maybe s) thats been disabled and won't let me wipe it. Do you nerds know of any software that can help me out?

Disabled as in the passcode has been entered too many times? if so put the iphone into recovery/DFU mode and restore via itunes.

I don't know how often you take pictures/use flash but if you ever use it do the pictures ever come out dark as though the flash didn't work?

I know some people have had issues with this but mine is fine

Battery is a little disappointingly to be honest but by no means a deal breaker

Do you know if it's isolated problems with specific handsets?

I find my battery life is good

Use Google Mail on an iPhone using Exchange

• Open the Settings application on the iPhone's home screen.
  
• Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  
• Tap Add Account....
  
• Select Microsoft Exchange.

  

  
  

• In the Email field, enter your full Gmail address.
  
• Leave the Domain field blank.
  
• Enter your full Google Mail email address as the Username.
  
• Enter your Google Mail password as the Password.
  
• Tap Next at the top of your screen. (Choose Cancel if the Unable to Verify Certificate dialog appears.)
  
• When the new Server field appears, enter m.google.com.

• Select the Google Mail services (Mail, Calendar, and Contacts) you want to sync.
  
• Unless you want to delete all the existing Contacts and Calendars on your phone, select the Keep on my iPhone option when prompted. This will also allow you to keep syncing with your computer via iTunes.

  group, you must choose to
  Delete Existing Contacts
  during the Google Sync install when prompted. If you choose to keep existing contacts, it will sync the contents of the "All Contacts" group instead. If there are no contacts on your phone, the latter will happen -- the contents of your
  All Contacts

That's it! You can now access Google Mail from your iPhone. If you have Push enabled on the phone, synchronization starts automatically. You can also just open the Mail, Calendar or Contacts app and wait a few seconds to start a sync.

Should work dude, I use this as the way to sync my Google Apps for email and GMail account just for the contacts and it works fine with no issue for both accounts.

So pissed, been trying to get the iphone5 sim free for time. Have to go through that reservation service but the don't have stock. Given up. Will just order the thing online from apple. The 3-4 week dispatch estimate is long though.

Not sue about this. I would say yes but if you don't want to get the 5 my opinion would be to go for the 4s. Outwardly though no one will be able to tell the difference.

For that price and gig I'd take it. See what that specific one is selling for on ebay. Also, try and find out how much warranty is left, that way any problems you take it straight into Apple.
