I wanna be an animator/ work on games and animated films. big ask considering how hard it is to get into the industry but im determined. doing courses in something else atm but just gradually building upon my knowledge of animation and always trying to find out more. im still quite young so im taking my time i know its not gonna be easy but im confident i can make it.

But i am tlking the Uni route and already flopping it

Ahh you want to be a plastic surgeon LOG?Was aiming for that field myself. Then I had a long think about the 15-20 years I'll have to dedicate, and I lost all motivation. Had work experience one time with a surgeon... Was pretty damn amazing.

Wanted a career in computing from early, but programming has never been my forte...Finally found my calling in the last academic year whilst participating on a designing information systems module at uni and am going in the direction of systems architecture and possibly mobile systems development. (Final year project is focused on creating an interactive m-learning app)I saw tooooo many people leave job searcing till the last minute so I've got on it from the get-go.Calling and emailing contacts left right and centre. After a few calls here and there I've pretty much been offered a job after uni with Nokia...only issue is i'm not feeling the idea of going to Finland...my aim is still to find a job and emigrate to Dubai in 2 double 09watch this space.

Getting involved in film and tv is about who you know rather than what. BBC were doing a documentary on someone I know, and I chatted to the producers a lot. Like anything, it's a good profession at the top end, but you gotta be prepared to go through the sh*t.

after my stint in finance and marketing i will too, production wise. been making a lot of good contacts as its all about contacts in film tbh. partly inspired by the wire, and fortunately i got to meet gbenga (chris),and idris elba ironically. overall probably my biggest problem now is making a decision on what do to pver next few months.

reason i say yes and no is that i dont wanna get into the mainstream film industry, it doesnt appeal to me one bit, id rather be in the indie scene, i find that way more exciting and appealing, and of course i have no intention of learning proper film techniques or actually shooting on film i'm mainly computer based from filming to presentation, so the indie thing fits me better tbhi would also love to be a producer on indie films they make some exciting stuffgonna sart goin 2 festivals next year

i was thining about moving abroad one day, take my decks and set up a UK night in a little bar or club - get loads of ex-pats and a few locals, try and push UK sounds in different markets.
