so eto'o scored 30 league goals this season....and they wanna give him plus 10 mil for zlatani mean .. zlatan is good but something doesn't sound right there.
Zlatan scored 25 goals in a team that has the creativity of a kid with down syndromeguys like f*ck*ng Stankovic and flippin Muntari feeding himEto'o had Iniesta and Xavi feeding himI could score 15 goals in that Barca teamZlatan would score 49 goals and 546989568905 assists at Barca

Man City would price us out anyway, whether it be fees/wages-wise.Veloso seems the type to go where the money/short-term gains is, anyway. Going to try not to get excited.
Always wondered what makes people say this kind of thing about a player so... what makes you say this in relation to Veloso, what has lead you to think he is this type ?
The fact he said he definitely playing in England next season no matter what...

Ron's Real talks have startedREAL MADRID are claiming talks have begun to prise Cristiano Ronaldo away from Manchester United.Bernabeu general director Jorge Valdano admits the Spanish giants have upped their efforts to sign the Portuguese winger.Reports in Spain say Madrid president Florentino Perez has been in talks with United and the La Liga giants are on the verge of breaking their own world record transfer — set just a few days ago for £62million man Kaka.Valdano said: "I can't answer any questions about him."I can only talk about players who are on their way here, not about those we are in negotiations over."He is a great professional who dedicates a very great deal of time to his work. He is a great footballer and a very good professional."Ronaldo, 24, has been enjoying the close season, spending time partying in Sardinia and Los Angeles. But Valdano insists he is still the perfect player for Madrid. He added: "According to the information we have managed to obtain, he is an excellent professional."You don't get the player's body he has, which is a footballing advertisement, without working a great deal."His reputation as an officially good-looking guy and a social or advertising model blurs his image a bit. But he is still a great footballer."

oh seen thats fair enough then. but its a little understandable considering the teams in for him. Dont forget he has been linked with a move to england the past couple of seasons so maybe he just feels now it is more likely than not to happen. Doesnt make him a money grabbing time maybe he just feels his time at lisbon is coming to an end and is confident of a move to england. and in relation to the balotelli stuff, c/s anderson credit to balotelli. put yourself in that kind of situation and think it cant be easy to just brush it off/could see madrid maybe getting villa but not ronaldo.

You would have a hard time registering a shot on target, about scoring 15.:D Only Villa would be an improvement on Eto'o and even then that's not a guarantee.

We can't deny the fact that we spoke to Tevez's agent KJ because Rafa did, in all honestly we are interested and a question i have asked was can we afford him because i don't think we can.The answer was yes, ideally we can and will buy Tevez if we can come to an agreement with his agent and its obvious he will come here, the question is were will he play i dont know, because its something i've been trying to work out since the enquiry. I also asked why and how can we sign him and again i should of looked at the whole picture. We can't pay the 30 million up front for Tevez thats a fact although other clubs can i.e Man City, obviously it will have to be staggered payments of which KJ will have to agree to. Now this its were it gets clever, we have to have a business perspective in terms of shirt sales and merchandise, if we are to sign him, Ayre will do his estimated sums of potential sales and this is more clout in getting the owners to sanction it. I believe Rafa has asked for more money potentially to secure all his prime targets and it looks like he might get it.

Sporting Lisbon have initiated talks with Manchester United about re-signing Nani on an extended loan spell or arranging a player-plus-cash exchange involving their captain, the attacking midfielder Joao Moutinho.A delegation led by the Sporting vice-president, Ribeiro Teles, is understood to have visited Manchester on Tuesday, hoping to capitalise on a disappointing season for Nani in which he started only seven Premier League games. However, the 22-year-old favours a move to Italy and has expressed misgivings about returning to the club that sold him for around £16m two years ago.A straight cash deal has been ruled out because of Sporting's financial restraints.
