I think this has gone above rap though.

Drake is that fresh faced mixed race guy from Toronto. He makes loads of club hits and his music gets people gassed and spending. He is building his city up music wise. His brand and name is worth way more than Meek.

His label and people with a stake in his success can't let some raw Street guy from Philly defeat him.

The spin from Drakes camp on social media and blogs has been epic. Even had my mum come up to me and say so Nicki Minaj left that rapper then because of Drake. Was baffled.

Meek style was not right to go against some slow and more audible like Drake. Mixdown was awful too.

Would've been more interesting if someone like Kendrick had gone against Drake instead of Meek.
