Never realised how important warm ups are till yday!

My Spotter was on the weights no prior warm up jumped on 60lb dumbbells tore pretty much every ligament in his shoulder and arm!

warm up guys!

Anybody experienced nose bleeds with decas before? For some reason it happens to me.

Needless to say short term results>

Is there any other way to take protein powder?

Everytime i have it with just milk in a shaker its so heavy and almost makes me throw up i was thinking of adding scoops to my porridge in the morning and forcing myself to down it post-workout at least i would have to drink it just once in milk.

I even tried it with water instead of milk in my shaker and it tastes so much worse. The protein powder im using is optimum gold strawberry is not down to flavour or anything it tastes good but when downing it, its so heavy and just makes me want to throw up.

Joined yesterday - been lurking in this section of the site for time but never actually set foot in the gym.

Place was rammed and I felt like a chump when my boy took the weights down and was like "focus on your form"

Then I realised I just don't give a f*ck about their opinions - time to get locked in!

That's the main thing, everyone has to start somewhere and it's male pride that makes you want to start heavier than is comfortable. When I started I was pretty much doing 8KG dumbbell bench press and now it's 50KG bench press. Should be higher but I had a little hiatus from gym recently. Even that isn't a lot but the fact of the matter is my strength has gone up and it was because I focused on me and realised I don't pay monthly membership to get validation from next man.

Keep it up bro.

Sit ups everyday from now on. I want to see properly defined abs now.

some shakes are just thicker than others. either change or just accept it or dont use it.

adding more water can work, but then youll just have gallons of more shake to finish

or do it like my friend who so annoyingly takes almost 20mins to finish a shake

he chews it :/

I know now - just felt stupid benching a bar infront of all them folk.

When I was lifting with weights I was managing but it just didn't feel natural

Guess everyone starts off somewhere though

The progression is sick. I remember being sat in my boys bedroom saying I'd be happy when I could bench 50kg for 10 and weigh 12 stone. When you start reaching goals and start feeling and looking stronger. The feeling>>>>_______

i happily go lower for better form

but at the same time some people must look at me like WTF ! when i do certain exercises because of my shocking form but thats due to injuries that would prob need major surgeries to sort out.

well done - ur more or less a similar shape to me altho my belly is prob bigger

but its f*cked how you can tell ur somalien even tho the pic is blurry - nailbiting stuff

It is f*cked considering I am somalian mate. very nailbiting how I know, and you aint the same as me. plus ur belly is bigger.

Gattsu f*ck everybody when it comes to you doing your thing. and if anybody looks at you tell them i dont care what you lift I pay the same as you motherf*cker.
