It was a chest, triceps and calves day today. Good session overall but there was a massive decline in my bench press. I usually bench 130-140kg and get 8 reps. Maxed out at 110kg for 6-7 reps. My sleeping pattern and diet was as normal so i'm not sure why the massive decline in strength?

Been living of water and brown rice for 1 week now.

Not been doing too much exercise but notice a 2-3lb drop.

you will lose water weight initally then when you revert back to eating normal you will put on more or less what you lost.

brown rice and water - you got will power ill give you that much - i couldnt live one day on that never mind one week.

have a look at leangains (google it)

basically my routine, involves 3 days a week gym. Monday - lower body, weds - upper and friday - total. Heavy free weights, 1st week 10 reps, then second 12 and third 15. fourth week 10 reps with heavier weight.

Carb cycling just means eating carbs only on the day you train to fuel your muscles and aid recovery. So those three days eat potato rice or pasta with lunch and dinner which is usually chicken, fish or beef.

Days im not training mostly protein, only carbs i eat is through fruit and green veg.

On my first week of being in a caloric deficit for about 3-4 weeks. I can't believe how much I've realied on carbs for fear of decreasing glycogen levels. Definitely has opened my mind, after this mini cut. I'm definitely going to watch my carb intake. Starting to see some ab definition loving it.

Hit the critical mass protein last week as I feel I had maxed out what I could achieve just naturally. Brought the diet on board too, physique right now is looking real ripped, arms are a next level, just need to work on my abs abit more but I'm pretty happy with the way everything is looking. Go on holiday Thursday so I'm adding one more shake a day into my routine so that'll be three a day and gonna keep the diet as it is. Can't remember the last time I ate a pack of crisps or anything shitty like that.

Monday - Chest

Tuesday - Back

Wednesday - Arms

Thursday Shoulders

Friday - Circuit and Abs

If I miss Friday then I'll squeeze in abs on the same day as something else

Before I went on holiday i was weighing like 11st 3, came back like 10st 7 (Height 5'11)...pissed

My diet at the moment is

7am - Oats, dried fruit, and banana's

9am - 2 Pieces of brown toast spread with honey(VERY UNDERRATED)

11am - Protein based biscuits (2 packs)

1pm - Lunch - Something chicken or fish based

4pm - Second meal - something based with whole wheat pasta

6pm - Gym session

(after the sesh, get home, couple of boiled eggs and/or can of tuna)

8pm - Dinner

(Also i'm eating about 5 pieces of fruit a day)

Drinking nothing but water and green tea.

Still not eating enough tbh, but i'm getting back into things, once i've maxed out naturally i'll introduce a couple of shakes into the mix. On the weekends i let things slack a little but even then I still try to keep as to my routine as much as possible.
