Been going gym 5 months straight, 4 days a week, haven't missed a single day. Definitely feel like I've reached a plateu, but taking long reaching the next step.

Gonna take a week or so off. Im hoping to try and keep the diet on point but gonna be hard stuffing my face without going gym. But a week off will hopefully give my body time to fully rest, and a shock when I jump back on. Deffo gonna switch up my workout too.

So i started again this week..

after nearly 2 years of not using a barbell i benched 100kg

i weigh 93

still benching more than i weigh after not training, thats what i call.... ALPHA BABY

my gym dont have a barbell bench anymore

been gym out here put the weights on the bench i thought i should be on from smiff and dumblels

the wobble lol humbled myself

today was ok though

everyones on roids here thugh

S.Khan really appreciating that info I'm ashamed to say it is probably the technique. I don't have good knees so I guess it's really vital. Tbh most of my leg work is on machines / I'm loose with it coz I've always had good legs... seems to run in the family, so I've been fairly happy with them

You lot don't use the barbell? Isn't that what u squat with? Like a bit of bench press but dumbbell flys are my thing these days

i got shocking knees

espesh the right one, cant sit for too long

squat does nothing to worsen it.... so is 100% tek

That's why i'm shook to go heavy until i got form perfected

bench press is easy

and i have mastered deadlift so i'm comfortable with that.. did 100kg x 5reps for 3 sets on wednesday jus to ease myself back into things

gunna try 120kg next week, should be fine for a couple reps

wdwefwerwufwfwefewuyff struggling to squat 40kgs, strong frauding with the bench/DL stats.

BRB

  • no time/no motivation for the gym.
  • Losing gains because no time to eat.
  • finding 3 days a week impossible
  • Feel like I'm wasting my time and could be something productive or hanging out with friends/family.
  • Lifting is a very lonely/selfish pursuit. Everyone is narcissist and inward looking.

It's definitely a lifestyle which I'm finding hard to maintain.

Wish man was a student and doing nothing except lifting/eating and sleeping :(
