A Bit Better Posted September 27, 2009 Report Share Posted September 27, 2009 anybody here cooked a steak before?gimme some tipsi like mine mediumwhat kind of steak is it?Irish beef rump anybody here cooked a steak before?gimme some tipsi like mine mediumseason it for a good while b4 u cook and leave it to marinade so the steak soaks it all upIf u like it medium rare... a nice thing to do is... heat a pan up @ a high heat to brown off the steak... then finish it off in the oven ona low heat for like 10-15.... that way it makes sure the outside is nice whilst the inside stays tender... what tends to happen with steak is if u fry it fully it can end up getting tough....no one likes thatsafe that's really good advicewhat do you use as a marinade?well... i dont really eat beef anymore but when i did... tings like steak seasoning *yeh.. its called that lol* worcester sauce... a TINY splash of soy sauce and a pinch of ground black pepper and chopped garlic. Don't overdo it ... u dont wanna take the natural taste of the beef away. Cook it with onions and the garlic too. *Cook some mushrooms with it if u like mushrooms.. its always a nice accompliment with steak*Lol.don't watch my grammar u faggot lollive your life.Lol then don't make up words you shirt-lifter! Guest Lemons Posted September 27, 2009 Report Share Posted September 27, 2009 With steak, if you're frying it, make sure you put the oil on the meat and not the pan (griddle pan if you have one) so that the kitchen doesn't get all smokey. I don't really eat it much but I recently discovered the wonders of medium-well and am in love! White boys know their steak! It may be a generalisation but I'm comfortable with it!
