Which Country's Food Would You Say Is The Best?

there's no problem

why don't ask everyone to give examples?

why single out Jamaican food?

so ur refusing to say what foods u like?

suttin wrong with u lot still.

nd other ppl have asked the same questions of other foods.

main reason is bcos of my ignorance, all ive ever really had is jerk chicken rice and peas etc etc and tbh they arent really jamaican.

u had a chance to spread some knowledge and u didnt.

i didn't think u were ignorant, i thought u had an angle tbh

what i like is

callaloo and salt fish

steam fish

escovitch fish

dumplings

festivals

brown stew chicken

brown stew fish

stew peas (minus the pork)

curry goat

real jerk chicken off the bbq or i ain f*ckin with it

patties

roti

hard food

bammy

/

my nex favourite food is morrocan/iranian type food

nuff lamb dishes

shits delicious

had all of these and they're piff

need 2 get my neighbours 2 make me some of that brown stew chicken again it was bangers

what is the brown stew fish saying?

same but fish

its the bangers

f*ckin love escovitch, u dno if or when the peppers gna lick off ur face

so thats what ur angle was

u only had to say that instead of feining ignorance

i don't know what u expect when theres no indigineous population, whatever people cook in the caribbean has to come from somewhere else

what makes it caribbean or specific to an island is the way its cooked

/

but what on the list are u actually talkin about

?

im sure all theres stuff on the list that are carribean things for many reasons. 'no indigineous population' wouldnt be an excuse for having no specific cuisine. nd it does, jus some of them arent.

dunno y ur so touchy touchy.

no but what on the list, (half of the things u say), are not Jamaican?

if u can say they arnt Jamaican, then u obviously couldnt have been as ignorant of Jamaican cuisine as u claimed to be

Jamaica has Africans, Chinese, Indians etc, population is only a couple hundred years old

the foood that is cooked comes from people who have come to the island through slavery and immigration so variations of the food are gna be cooked in other places in the world

and i'm not even being touchy, im just fully aware of people having a problem when Jamaicans have pride in their culture

this is dumb purely cos u said a list of types of food, and i know of them. i didnt say what my ignorance was - it was what jamaicans consider jamaican food tbh

but whatever my points been proven, not that i initially had one.

so what on the list?

My favourites include Lebanese, Italian, French, Indian, Turkish, southern American (cajun/creole) cuisine, Thai, Chinese.

Really enjoy English and Irish food as well.

+ Resident VIP2 Asians, can anyone clue me to where I can get GOOD udon noodles in the north London area. This Sharwoods sh*t is not cutting it. Ever since Yohan Plaza closed I have been lost.

lol@ the typical ghettoness of this thread.

every food is as good as the person who likes it. (and who cooks it too for that matter)

only a handful of you have eaten at any decent restrnt in your life

not one of us has sampled all the foods available in london,

coming with that 'cant see beyond your council estate' nonsense about this and that food being the best

brisco you were being pedantic for no reason. ur ghanian and u lot use basmati rice over any other rice

when the f*ck did basmati rice grow in ghana? i wonder if theres even one rice field IN ghana.

jollof rice is not yours, and its not nigerian either.

when u come up with a baked monkey and banku soup dish..then you can say anything ghanian is originally ghanian.
