ARSENE WENGER has handed a trial to Nigeria international defender Godfrey Oboabona.

The 22-year-old played a major role as his country won the African Nations Cup last month.

Arsenal boss Wenger will now run the rule over the £1m-rated centre-back who has won 18 caps and plays for the Sunshine Stars.

Oboabona said: “Arsenal are my favourite club from childhood. It is the club I want to play for.”

Arsene Wenger will not sign someone better than Jenkinson.

Why buy back up, when we've got Giroud, Walcott, Podolski. Just simply sign someone BETTER than the aforementioned to START up front.

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.

fucking spot on

I just wrote what has been reported. It's the situation like tf has said

But if real win the champions league can you see them sacking him?

Even pique has been joking about the situation saying that barca can get the real defenders next season.

Can't see Chelsea selling Cech to us. But it's no secret avram grant has been in Romans ear telling him to sign begovic saying he is the best keeper he has ever worked with when he was at Pompey.

But he has refused advances as he wants to be first choice. But he can make the move this summer as Cech has openly talked about leaving Chelsea and arsenal is one of his choices.

Mourinho staying after winning the Champions League, would be Mourinho overstaying his welcome tbh.

Im sure Iker is one of Perez's favourites, so even if Mourinho did stay and they had to go, he would loathe to sell them and command a fee that Arsenal just would not pay.

Cech won't join us either, he's a c*nt, who would probably rather sit out his 3 seasons at Chelsea than move to Arsenal.

Bayern eye summer Koscielny move

According to France Football, Bayern Munich are considering a summer move for Laurent Koscielny.

The centre-half was part of the team which lost to the 3-1 to German champions at the Emirates but after Arsene Wenger dropped captain Thomas Vermaelen for the second leg, the Frenchman was part of a defence which kept a clean sheet and he scored the late goal which set Bayern nerves on edge.

The FF report says, “Koscielny’s excellent performance in 2nd leg caught Bayern’s attention and they have made enquiries.”

It’s unclear as to whom enquiries have been made. If it’s Arsenal one would hope they’ll have been politely rebuffed and reminded that Koscielny recently signed a new long-term deal.

The former Guingamp man can consider himself somewhat unlucky to have been on the bench as often as he had this season, especially given the form of Vermaelen, but nevertheless has made 29 appearances this campaign.

Meanwhile, reports in the Catalan press continue to link Barcelona with skipper Thomas Vermaelen.

The soon to be Spanish champions are in need of central defensive reinforcement, and if Arseblog News had to put any money on a centre-half leaving this summer, it’d be the Belgian who shares the same agent as Robin van Persie.

So 2 out of our 3 main CB's are linked with a move away this summer and the 3rd is a donkey

its gonna be another long summer  :(
