I have no idea when next gen is coming... I'd guess around 2014 or something... but i'm saying development time for GTA's is way longer than the PS2 games (roughly 4 years a game now) so chances are if they do make a gta san andreas its going to be on next gen... especially if they plan on making a 3 city san andreas with all the country side and content the playstation 2 version had

…few details I heard about GTA5; outlandish characters, weed, gangsters, & celebrities fit the profile for a contemporary LA-set GTA game.

Plus it's being casted by Telsey & Company. With all of that, I feel fairly confident in saying that "Rush" is actually a codename for GTA5.

Noticed that call mentions two characters not listed in the call: Simon & Albert de Silva. Could one of those be the main character?

55 clapped out FBI agent who now mostly works offering advice on TV shows whose only claim to fame turns out to be entirely false but a decent guy in other ways. Badly dressed. Divorced. Putting on weight.

Jerry Cole:

53 disabled IT expert and criminal information vendor.

Rich Roberts:

English hardman actor, 35, who acts tough but who wants to do serious work - the only problem is he can't quite read the words.

Alex:

white 52 yr old loosie goosie hippy rich guy who has lost his money and is getting desperate but trying not to.

Scarlet:

45-52 years old unshaven female spiritualist and hippy with a love of exploring the wilderness. Very into journeys.

Chad:

29 pretty boy misogynist Beverly Hills party boy. Made money, but not as cool as he thinks he is.

Tae Wong:

39 somewhat incompetent Chinese mobster, loves doing ecstasy, going to raves.

Taes Translator:

45 - VERY STRAIGHT LACED Chinese translator, terrified of his bosss dad. Male, awkward. Needs to speak Chinese.

Im goin to rebuy GTA4. I buoght it at midnight realease and sold it a week later... Maybe i never gave it enough of a chance...

game was good just had massive expectations to live up to

thinking of the games it had to be either on par with or better than, vice city and san andreas arent exactly easy to top or even match. The settings for those 2 games where arguably the best they could have used. Vice City using 1980's miami with themes taken from scarface, miami vice etc, the characters used and the cubans and the haitians and the soundtrack was sick aswell, then san andreas in the 90's, i think sometimes people forget just how much sh*t was in that game. burglary, pimping, gang wars, car modding, having more control over ur character than in other games with the ability to hit gym and to get tattoos, gambling, dancing, you could get into debt there was ridiclous depth to the amount of stuff you could spend your time on in that game. Being able to reach the gaming version of vegas and bare other places. Another sick soundtrack and the Largest voice cast in gaming history, San Andreas is one of the sickest games ever made without doubt.

Then came GTA IV, going from them two big settings with huge features to playing some russian guy in a time setting and city with no large standout factor was never gonna be the same. Its still a very good game, its just not comparable to the prior games and its hardly suprising. As i said in here i started it again recently and i think its sick, theres still alot to do in the game and the missions are still good. If they come with a GTA V, they either have to go back to a winning formula and add to it with all the additional stuff they could put in given the time since those games came out, or come with something new again and make it a time and place with massive appeal like the past games had.
