the greatness of the show (n the books) lies in the realistic n gritty humanism, n obviously the complexity of the storyline

 

got mates i've had this exact discussion with cos they're too narrow minded to give it a chance cos of the fantasy aspect

 

also made a point that he aint a dwarf, he's jus a midget, to be then told he is actually a genuine dwarf by definition, but not as in a lord of the rings magical dwarf, jus a small geeza

 

it's not 'based on' the fantasy aspect at all

I'm not trying to say they are levels with each other.

I'm trying to say they're the same type of entertainment value.

 

Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire - you kind of have to take in to really appreciate it.

GOT, Prison Break, Heroes - the entertainment is all there on the surface. Though in fairness GOT has a bit more complexity to it, but I don't think you gain much more appreciation for it by observing that.

 

Out of interest, in what way do you consider the previous statement a violation?
