Yeah he does have a drink problem...was implied I think. His parents are dead, he is the eldest, his friends are all dying out slowly. He has his own sh*t to deal with. I went through a childhood that I hope none of you had, how many of you man are used to guarding your mum from your dad aged 5? And why do you man think I would actually be bothered to do it... I make sure Im on good terms with the bitchiest most annoying but influential people in the office...coz if they dislike you they can make your life hell...block promotions, watch your work extra closely and be quick to point out mistakes etc to your boss A smile and some small talk works wonders. I wouldnt even waste your time on the guy. All having a vendetta and planning to f*ck him over. Is it worth the effort? I dont think so. Unless the opportunity falls into your lap. He can come back from this, a little naivety and an unwillingness to ruffle any feathers because he's temping seems like the main problem here.
