Guest Portuguese
Messi could of easily got a hat-trick but the Messiah played well. Thanks Pep. Another clever tactical switch when nobody expected it - Pedro on the left and Villa on the right for the final, and Messi playing even deeper than usual, and occasionally drifting to his old RW position. Had Park and Evra totally confused.

Flojo
Pos to YM, I was saying the same thing in the pub. There was no intent in the approach Ferguson used, just hope that something would happen. What were the commentators saying about his tactics? Gambino
We surpassed all my expectations this season regardless. It's been a humbling experience to not feel like such a force - Yet we still came out with a Prem Title. Looking forward to the new season now. There was no intent in the approach Ferguson used, just hope that something would happen. What were the commentators saying about his tactics? What would you have done different then?Send Anderson out to chase shadows?I don't rate Anderson but he has something you were desperately lacking last night - energy. It was way too comfortable for Barca in the middle, you can't allow players of that quality time to think on the ball considering how good they are under pressure so crowding the central areas is essential. Game plan was non existent from Ferguson last night.

anelka
Lol at saying Fergie didnt have a plan smh he played his best team, they got beaten... Anderson wudnt have done anything neither would have BerbatovFletcher, or Smalling sat infront of the back four alongside Carrick wudda made a differenceThe main danger came when Carrick was lured out 2 close the ball due to Giggs n Park going walk about, they played around Carrick and got in at Utd's back fourGiggs set up the goal, used possession well and his dribbling left Iniesta n Xavi.. Utd didnt get him on the ball higher up the park enoughManchester United FC have an attacking tradition, they wer neva going to spoil or adapt a "negative" approach but next time they face Barca their main focus needs to be stopping Barca, it goes against their tradition but needs mustBig up Cheslea coz Arsenal & Utd have been played off the park by this Barca team but Chelsea more than held it up
