who remembers savio at West Ham

Former West Ham forward Savio Nsereko has been arrested in the Thai resort of Pattaya after an apparent false kidnap claim, the Bangkok Post reports.

The former German Under-20 international, who joined the Hammers from Brescia in a reported £9million deal from Brescia in 2009, was arrested by police in Pattaya after reportedly extorting €25,000 from members of his family.

It is alleged Nsereko telephoned members of his family from Thailand, telling them he had been kidnapped and demanding a ransom.

Nsereko's family contacted the German embassy in Thailand, who brought in the police.

The 23-year-old, whose unhappy spell at Upton Park ended after just ten appearances when he was sold to Fiorentina, is now on his way back to Germany to stand trial.

Nsereko is currently contracted to German third tier side SpVgg Unterhaching after several unsuccessful spells in Bulgaria, Italy and Romania.

You don't become a bad GK overnight, Reina is still class however some competition would be good.

An attacking LB is needed.

Co-sign replacing Skrtel but is Coates ready? Skrtel should be 3rd choice.

Allen is class, stop being silly Porchy.

Co-sign Sahin.

Sterling definitely isn't ready to be starting, Liverpool need a good 3 players at least in those attacking positions.

 Porchy does not rate Allen with that price tag at all. Was saying the exact same thing about Sterling. He should be pushing an experienced / good winger, and being blooded in from there.

And like i've said before Gerrard needs to be used sparringly imo. No way should he be doing 90 minutes. And Shelvey is just no.

Reina is bad and has been for two years now.

Sahin can easily do what Joe Allen does and more

Joe Allen isn't bad but £15M for a guy who only passes sideways and backwards sorry £15M is a lot for a team who don't have di fonds

Sahin can do what Allen does & more but Allen HAS to play purely because they paid £15m which in the long term will be worth it & secondly, because he IS long-term.

Right now, he's Liverpool's best midfielder. There's no disputing that. Once Lucas comes back & they sign a more incisive playmaker or attacking midfielder, they'll be fine.
