Any beat-em-ups announced for next gen?

killer instinct is an xboxone exclusive
But if you invite your peeps round have two players and more people in the same room. The console wants licencing coverage via the Kinect device detecting multiple bodies in the room.

If not you can only enjoy tv and movies on it.... Lol

Xbox guy talks about the DRM shit

The thing is we suck at telling the story. The whole point of the DRM switch from disc based to cloud based is to kill disc swapping, scratched discs, bringing discs to friends house, trade-ins for shit value with nothign going back to developers, and high game costs. If you want games cheaper then 59.99, you have to limit used games somehow. Steam's model requires a limited used game model.

 

The thing is, the DRM is really really similar to steam... You can login anywhere and play your games, anyone in your house can play with the family xbox. The only diff is steam you have to sign in before playing, and Xbox does it automatically at night for you (once per 24 hours)

 

t's a long tail strategy, just like steam. Steam had it's growing pains at the beginning with all it's drm shit as well. [...] For digital downloads steam had no real competition at the time, they were competing against boxed sales. At the time people were pretty irate about steam, (on 4chan too...) It was only once they had a digital marketplace with DRM that was locked down to prevent sharing that they could do super discounted shit.

 

 

So Xbox might be doing what Steam does in the future with their games if this all works.  Would make much more sense and get better.  Although, i would prefer disks of the big main games.  

 

 

Xbox also supports extended HD so people could be having 2-3TB's on their xbox

I just care about myself mate.  I've got a PS1, PS2, PS3 and will have a PS4.   I only care about what console i will get a better gaming experience.  From what i've seen/heard it's going to be the new Xbox.  The Xbox will also make me more money than Sony will do as they have more rights to games.

 

I'm defending MS 'cause there's been so many clueless comments

 

I've seen that KI is going to flop 'cause they allow people to try before they buy.  They just ignored the fact you can buy the game out right :/

Kinect is always on and spying on us, but you can turn it off :/

 

You can't share games, but it allows you to give it any of your 10 chosen friends..

 

I don't agree with some of MS decisions and already said PS4 is the superior console.   Some people have no idea what they are on about though.    I hope MS doesn't flop 'cause then Sony are free to do what they like without any competition.  Something Revs has already brought up :Y:
