"Keisuke Honda's proposed move to AC Milan this summer is looking increasingly unlikely after CSKA Moscow admitted they are in no rush to sell the midfielder.

CSKA president Yevgeni Giner told the Russian media that both the club and Honda could be better off if the 27 year-old waited until his contract expires in December.

"Honda is free to talk to any club at the moment and he is free to leave for the right price. Rumour has it that I've been offered €1.5 or €2million for him, but I don't need it," he said.

"He's an important player for the team and will help us earn more than €2million if we progress through the Champions League.

"If he plays well, he'll be in an even better position to sign a lucrative deal at the end of the year. It might not even be with Milan."

Although Milan are hoping to sign the Japan international before the transfer window closes at the end of August, it is understood the Serie A side would not be forced into paying the €5million fee CSKA have reportedly demanded."

It's the dates how they run their season use to be March to December but think they have now changed it

If Ayre has a brain, he would have spent today briefing certain journos that they are considering legal action on Arsenal, regarding tapping up... He should have done this a week ago instead of telling them they had a watertight contract and insisting on Sky Sports News that Suarez will not be sold.

 

Let a week pass, see who Arsenal draw in the CL play off...

 

Then pick up the phone, say to Ivan look we'll take the 40m, include some add on's and we will drop the legal threat, and then lets add some nonsense clauses so we can announce the sale as a "potential transfer record sale", basically 3m if Arsenal win the World Cup. Then let another week pass and announe the deal, while you've been making some headway into recruits. Basically do like we did last summer telling Giroud and Podolski your being bought to play with RvP, while you knew they was really his replacements...
