Pro 06 was the best IMO

 

PES2008 is when it went downhill but was the one with the most competition imo.   Also the same game where i become #1 player in London

Had some good rivalries with my bredrins and a few guys on here

PES 2008 was OK but if felt more like arcade game instead of a simulation game. I didn't really give Fifa 08 a proper chance and being away from Fifa for so long meant that I struggled whenever I did get a chance to play it.

The game changer for me was the UEFA EURO 2008 demo. Was playing that everyday then did the same thing with the Fifa 09 demo and realised it was time to make the crossover.

After that I went to Fifa 08

that was a dark year for football games, FIFA 08 was better but still weren't that good

Nah Fifa 08 was cold, people just didn't want to admit it lol

 

now that I think about it you're right, just back then I could never find a match online

I'd say they're about on par with FIFA 12 and even the the dribbling is still so damn stiff

 

I like the way lob passes look though, on FIFA they look almost 'scripted', looks a lot more realistic

 

that's all though, I'm assuming all the old problems still exist

the few things i like about pro is the detail of players, u can change how they dribble , take a freekick etc, plus when shooting with a pro evo player it seems more realistic than fifa, u get the odd ball bouncing n so forth
