The downfall is down to trolls(that have been banned but will be back later to kill threads with back and forths) and the misuse of the some news, random picture and video threads.

Some news = This should be for small stories like for example a dog saving it's puppies from a burning building. Interesting story but not something that will start a 10+ page discussion. But people dump thread worthy stories in there.

Random picture thread = Was good when it first started and was a good place to put funny pics and gifs from Facebook, twitter, tumblr etc. But then guys carried away and started putting newspaper articles, videos, tweets etc. I remember when the thread first started there was a rule that couldn't make a post without a picture and now there's dead back and forths lasting a few pages.

Video thread = Said it before and I'll say it again, ban music videos from this thread. It's killing the music rooms(especially when an artist has a 50+ page thread in the hip hop room but people are posting their newest video in the video thread) and it's long having to scroll pass a bunch of dead UK rappers that Chaps looks up to just to watch an interesting video. It's a thread that's needed for random videos like one I saw the other day of a dog and his owner doing squats and anything thread worthy can be moved by mods but hopefully this won't be necessary when people finally realise that the start new topic button is their friend.

Bring back the Jail room for the users that are currently banned if they are brought back. If the same people wanna derail threads with their nonsense or break rules just dash them in there for a few days.

Happened to me a few times but it generally gets ignored, negged and ironically they will end up contributing.
