Police does have a factor but uk rappers rap about nothing. In european scenes too much material talk and superficial shit doesnt really get no love. Of course there is exceptions to that rule but there is a selected few who have the ability to craft concepts.
the way them german/french songs have instro,vocals,content constructed makes the ukhh scene look like a joke tbh

its not like man in france are making tunes for people all over the world to hear them.... cos speaking in french it has a very limited appeal where as in english its more appealing so should theoretically do well....

in europe the music stations still play shit like this
when songs like this are coming out at roughly the same time by french artists
