War Dogs was aiiiiiight 6/10 nothing special probably never watch again.

 

Doesn't ever really get going.

Enjoyed café society but I normally enjoy Woody Allen films.

Nice feel good movie, would watch with a parent or if I had an open minded date.

War Dogs felt a bit rushed.

Every scene needed to be longer, especially the dramatic ones where the characters were at risk.

Considering the amount of P the characters made, I'd want to see them splash at some point.

Seems like whatever story it was based on was a good story with potential to be a better film.

Wasn't bored at any point, just underwhelmed at the end.

Watched some film called The Neon Demon last night

 

....i think out of all the films ive ever watched...that was the weirdest film ive ever seen and not in a good way.

Main points of weird shit (spoilers as i dont think anyone should even bother watching this shit)

Lesbian woman who does make up in a mortary lipsing a dead person then mounting her and fingering her whilst fantasising about another woman.

Woman about to get raped in her motel and hears her neighbour getting it calls her "friend" for help, goes to her "Friends house" where again, this lesbian woman who does make up attempts to rape her after she knew what happened.

women going to a modelling cast...one not getting in..smashing a mirror in the toilets..other woman who did get in comes in the toilet to find her and cuts her hand on the glass......the woman who didnt get in tells her to come close as if shes gonna help the cut...but then starts biting and tryna suck the blood like some crazed animal.

They kill the main girl in the film (2 models and a make up artist) then eat her......yes....eat her.

After they ate her...one of the women was at  a modelling shoot...freaked out when she was looking at the pool (they pushed the girl who died into an empty pool to kill her) and walked off heaving....the other model who was part of the murder goes back to check on her freaking out and heaving...then she throws up the girls eye of who she ate.....then killed herself saying (i need to get her out of me)....once she stabbed herself with the scissors...the other girl ate the eyeball she threw up.

 

Seriously this gotta be the weirdest shit. It was just weird for being the sake of weird. Bare artsy shit.

Yeah I watched Neon Demon, definitely weird

But it was also some of the best use of lighting I've ever seen in a film. Music video people should take note.

The Tiger/Lion? WTF

I think the times when she was made to stand out above other girls were to forced. 

The actor playing the photographer is mad creepy

was like the town but with slightly less emphasis on how the crimes were set up, and more humour. 

and also a western

The racist humour was funny

you know what made me think of it , my friend yesterday showing me dont breathe, i watched the trailer because i have no intention of watching the film but i just felt like i was watching the whole thing

You can't tell if they gave the whole film away without watching the while film

I thought that the prisoners trailer told me a lot but when I watched prisoners there was so much more to it

Maybe the film has so much to it that the trailer can give You that much without ruining it. 

Also You can watch enough of the trailer to make a decision about watching it and press stop when You decide yes

the madman treats the show like his own personal art project

took me like 2 seasons to realise the black woman was his wife and not just an overly involved babysitter  it's entertaining don't get me wrong, but I laugh more at his standup shots then anything in the actual eps

I watched the blackfish documentary this weekend, very interesting and tragic on all sides.

 

Definitely recommend, it's on netflix.

Hell or High Water.

Film of the year so far for me, can't think of one better.

So refreshing to see a movie with no bait cliches, no bullshit, just good story, good acting and some great shots.

Don't Breathe is definitely one of the better slasher movies

Magnificent 7 was ok, a fun 2 hours but nothing special. Only watched it due to Hell or High Water being sold out.
