  1. Ulysses i can't agree with you there brother Pasaively benefiting from the fund is bad enough but he also held personal shares in the fund which was avoiding tax. That might not be illegal but as Obama said - the fact that it's not illegal is the problem. Cameron isn't just a bit of a hypocrite, he's a barefaced liar. On Monday he had nothing to do with his father's fund. On tuesday he suddenly remembered that he might have actually held personal shares in it but he didn't benefit from any more off shore assets. On Wednesday a carefully crafted statement came out saying "the Cameron family won't be benefitting from offshore funds IN THE FUTURE" ?? The guy clearly knows he's got cash buried in every tax haven out there. As I said , if I was wealthy I would also try to avoid paying tax...but its something else do become PM and make statements about poor people stealing benefits and try to slash the benefits of deserving disabled people.

  2. I dont have a problem with tax evaders per se, but you cant be a politician and lecture people about morals and demonize people claiming JSA they're not entitled to...while living off money that is for all intents and purposes fradulent.

  4. They and their hound dogs in the media got ppl more concerned about the small fry. Oh of course no doubt, there will be a one off "special report" investigative programme on itv, Bbc and ch5... But nothing compared to the onslaught of programmes on same channels about benefit scroungers, don't pay we'll take it away, and those pesky immigrants.

  5. Yep, That's it. The reality is they are more closer on the benchmark to those at the bottom than these guys at the top. Meanwhile the guys at the top are telling them hey, look those guys at the bottom is why you are there. The concept is actually fucked. The thought process of believing that you are actually winning team is enough to get you by on a day to day basis. Mad

  10. You can't though, can you? No one's gonna look good publicly talking about how they deserve a higher percentage of their own money to keep than people who earn less than them.

  21. Quick lil update.... - We recently moved into our own office in Shoreditch, where we occupy the basement from some other company which is quite cool, they let us do what we like and dont give us no hassle - There are now 8 of us we been growing nicely, the most recent came on board last week to look after our social media/analytic's etc - Most of our clients thus far haven't been taking us serious as an established company and have been messing us around like c**ts however slowly the tides are turning and we should be bearing the fruits of our efforts very soon - We been working on an project that could potentially change the advertising industry as we know it, watch this space / Running your own business in the city is mad, thoroughly enjoying it.

  25. thats rubbish. people do not fear success. i agree that the UK does frown at some levels of success especially when they are the ones who helped propel said people into fame and success in the first place. The other set you talk about is not 'feared'. what is despised is those who by reason of a social elite tend to carve out everything for themselves including power and influence, yet they seem to be above the law. Banker bashing is justified, but is as you say..just now relegated to those scoring points on a tv show like questiontime or some other programme that has zero influence. as for the guardian bashing them in some long Ulysses type article...again no one is really reading that and its not got any real influence on the general populace. But when it comes to benefits and imimgrants, these lot get primetime TV slots, a constant barage of political manipulation. another thing people like you do is to always point to Labour or some labour MP when we accuse someone in the tories as a fraud... fact is that i coudlnt care if Ummunna used offshore stuff or Tony Benn..cos i am very aware that these are the same..tories and new labour have very little differentiating them..and even with the so called Old labour they are still members of the same boys and girls clubs as any other political party influence ANYWHERE in the west. their agenda of deceit and manipulation in the name of democracy is the same. i just know which matter i would focus on more in this pic

  31. Former HSBC boss tried to avoid tax on £8m Kensington house http://gu.com/p/4t3nm?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Copy_to_clipboard Panama Papers show Michael Geoghegan, a leading Brexit campaigner, has used offshore firms to manage his wealth The leading Brexit campaigner Michael Geoghegan is not resident in the UK for tax purposes, the Guardian can reveal. Hmmmm, I wonder why he wants Britain to leave the EU?

  32. There's a subset of people who see these guys as heroes. Poor idiots who just think they're just poor now momentarily until they get that break, but soon they'll be rich just like these guys and other poor people are just holding them back and have no ambition. You see it with Trump voters in the US

  35. lol you can walk and chew gum at the same time you know. Also that's simply not true, for example every week on question time you'll get 'banker bashing', or articles in guardian deriding private schooling. There is a general hostility to privilege and wealth in this country - the fact that you were lucky to be born in very fortunate circumstances, and your parents were smart and made good decisions in life, and made sure you had the best education possible is a politically disadvantageous in the times we live. And more generally the emergence of people like sanders, trump, corbyn etc is the public voicing their discontent with an international moneyed elite. When has there ever been a Negative programme about benefit scroungers or immigrants on the BBC, which by far has the most influence on British political discourse, on the contrary the BBC's output has always been favourable to the people

  38. What has Cameron actually done wrong? So what, he benefited from tax arrangement he had nothing to do with? There is nothing wrong or illegal with the type of collective investment fund his father setup, neither can the establishment of such funds be described as 'tax avoidance'. He may be hypocritical, but he is much, much less hypocritical than the Benns ( Tony Benn helped his children avoid paying tax on more than 5 million pounds), the Ummuna family (his family's £1 million pound house was paid through an offshore trust), Ed Milliband (Ed miliband used a 'deed of variation to substanstially reduce the amount of inheritance tax he paid) who have all gone out of their way to minimize their tax, and the guardian - who used a tax-exempt shell company in the Cayman Islands to avoid paying corporation tax when it sold its 50 per cent holding in Auto Trader to Apax Partners in 2008.
