People are acting as if a large portion of the country aren't struggling with their weight.

Rooney is from a prime demographic that are affected by weight problems, poor and uneducated.

A 5 minute chat is not gonna sort his future lifestyle habits.

It's a daily struggle for most people just as it is for him, as you can see from his family he was probably used to eating sh*t daily from childhood, that ingrained behaviour isn't gonna be sorted out quickly or without assistance.

Take into account his family are now rich but still look like slobs then that is the environment/behaviour he still has to cope with being around.

If he is in the pub every week then that is f*ck*ng retarded, a 1 off ban is useless in that respect, he should have been more regulated from the moment he arrived at the club imo.

If Evans has 4 pints Rooney is thinking he can do the same since they train the same, that ain't discipline, there are other factors such as height etc... that goes towards bmi, that's education in knowing what he can and can't get way with for his body type.

Every footballer is from that prime demographic stop gassed, he has a responsibility to keep his weight in check.

Fitness is only a fraction of the problem.

I see Rooney lacking control from the opening 10 minute of matches, what do you have to say about that? The only good thing I've seen form him in a long time is long range diagonal balls to a winger

I made the 5 minute chat comment due to you saying in the previous page that Rooney "doesn't know what to eat away from

The club"

Which is nonsense, We're not talking about a 5 year old who thinks Crisps are healthy because they're made from potato and thats a vegetable.

Course it's discipline, I'd be surprised if during the off season Rooney touches a gym or excerise bike, somebody like Giggs or Keane Post cruciate injury would've been there a few times a week regardless if they were on a 5* holiday or at home,

This is down to self discipline.

Rooney wasn't surprised by being overweight at the start of the season, it isn't the first time and won't be the last, he also knows why it happens.

Until he says to himself, "ok I like my Snouts, Drinks, Keebab's and chips, so I have to do a bit of work in the off season to balance it. This will keep happening.

Work hard and play hard.

Hatton used to pile on weight between fights, this wasn't due to not knowing what to eat unless he was spoon fed by his coaches it was because he lacks the discipline or desire to know when he's had enough and has to go to the gym to balance it.

Manchester United youngster Joshua King admits he may have to leave Old Trafford in order to get regular playing time.

The 20-year-old Norwegian has made just one senior appearance for the Red Devils, having spent time on loan at Preston North End,spacer.gifBorussia Monchengladbachspacer.gif and Hull Cityspacer.gif in recent seasons.

The striker appreciates breaking into Sir Alex Ferguson's star-studded first-team is a tough task and has given himself until Christmas to get more game time or he will target a move elsewhere.

King, who joined United's academy in 2008, says he would prefer to find a new club in England if he does decide to leave.

But the youngster, who has represented Norway through the ages up to Under-21 level, insists if he did return to his homeland, reigning league champions Molde FK would be his only possible destination.

"I have set Christmas as a deadline." King told VG. "If I haven't got more playing time by then, I will consider moving to another club.

"Considering the players United have, it is not easy to get into the starting 11.

"I would prefer to stay in England, but in case I do return to Norway, Molde is the only option."

i see where hes coming from but he needs to concentrate on staying fit first and foremost. I dont think hes mature enough physically to play the amount of football he thinks he can. Very talented baller though

It's all down to the agents to be honest .

It would have been nice to have kept them but all bar maybe pogba will be their own losses.

They are playing for donkey clubs

Only 2 of those had a serious chance of being long term players in the first team.

King has the athletic ability, genetics and Try hard attitude, but he lacks a certain something.

He'll do well though needs to make that next step up.

Brady is one that I can see going soon that will be a shame.

It's a matter a fact that the majority of youth team players find success elsewhere,

Just hope the likes of Lingard, Blackett, Cole make it, Local lads making the breakthrough>>>

United is a production line. if you aint stamped your mark by a certain point you'll get thrown overboard quickly. Why hang around in the reserves on reserve team wages playing against sub standard opposition once every 2-3 weeks not improving and waiting to be pushed. When you could go to somewhere like Hull City and potentially be playing every week. Earning good money and making a name for yourself that will allow you to come back and play prem ball eventually. Its about development.

Guys like King, he came up with cameron stewart, james chester, robbie brady , matty james etc. Those guys are in first team squads playing decent standard football every week and getting paid. He knows he can play that level too but instead hes playing reserve games against wastemen. And being realistic with RVP, Rooney, Welbs, Hernandez and now Henriquez he aint even getting a carling cup look in anytime soon. He needs to move and get a season under his belt. Personally i think he should try one more loan though

If Morrison keeps his head down and keeps putting in performances, he'll be a bigger loss than Pogba IMO.

It's not their loss nah ?

Morrison can't even get into the westham team .

Fryers is now a standard liege player .

Says it all , its their loss

Only time will tell.

Morrison being on loan to a upper championship/lower premiership level club, is where he'd be on loan to if he had stayed at United. He'll make something of himself if he wants, the player he can become will be United's loss.

Fryers was never though of as being highly rated, his playing at a decent level gaining experience, hopefully he'll be at Spurs and doing well in a year or two.

Cologne-v-Freiburg-Zoran-Tosic-celeb_2448271.jpg

He now concedes that he should have stuck it out at United and waited for an opportunity to impress.

Ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Scotland on Saturday, the 25-year-old forward told the Daily Record: "It all happened really quickly as I played for just 18

months with Partizan Belgrade.

"We won the league and the cup and there was a period when it seemed like I was scoring in every match.

"It was at that point I signed for Manchester United. It was such an exciting moment to go there and to meet Sir Alex (Ferguson).

"I had grown up as a United fan so to be working for the man who had brought so much success to the club was just unbelievable.

"However, there is a big difference between the Serbian and English league and when I arrived in Manchester I discovered I was not yet ready for that level.

"I spoke with Sir Alex many times and he kept telling me I had quality and just had to keep working hard.

"But I wanted to play more games so went to Cologne in Germany on loan and had a great six months there.

"When I came back to Manchester I was expecting to play more games for United but it didn't happen.

"In the end I wasn't sure I was going to get the chance I felt I deserved so decided to change club. Even now I am always thinking about that moment. Maybe I shouldn't have been so quick and should have worked longer to show Sir Alex.

"Maybe I should have stayed and fought for my place. This was Man United after all."

Was always a weird one

"When I get stuck into the action as a central playmaker, I love it.

"I get more of the ball, I'm involved loads and, after one game, I even think about playing there permanently, but only later in my career.

"Why? Well, in midfield I don't have to be as sharp as a forward. Once I feel that I haven't got the sharpness needed to get away from defenders, I'll probably drop back into midfield for a couple of seasons so I can still influence the game.

"In my heart I'd prefer it if I was playing up front, because I can still do a lot of damage, but the sacrifices don't bother me."

Anyone wanna play guess who?
