I made the 5 minute chat comment due to you saying in the previous page that Rooney "doesn't know what to eat away from

The club"

Which is nonsense, We're not talking about a 5 year old who thinks Crisps are healthy because they're made from potato and thats a vegetable.

Age has nothing to do with it, totally missing the point, there is an epidemic level of obesity in this country among adults.

I personally know people trying to lose weight, going to the gym 5 days a week (seriously) and depressed because they see no results, they are adults yet they don't know what or when to eat to get them the results they want.

It isn't childish to not know what nutrition is best for your body, people study this at University level, not everyone is fortunate enough to have Giggs' family history or genes.

The stats in this country suggest it's a bigger problem than simply knowing chicken and brown rice is a healthy meal.

Until he says to himself, "ok I like my Snouts, Drinks, Keebab's and chips, so I have to do a bit of work in the off season to balance it. This will keep happening.

This is where we have different opinions because to me until he learns how to live without that type of food this will keep happening, you can't be 5'9, eat kebabs, drink and stay fit, simple.

you can though. If you're activity level is as high as theirs is and you work hard on the training ground it can all be hidden, there are plenty of footballers with shocking diets who are ripped to shreds and very fit. Same with smoking. You see Mario Balotelli lighting up all the time, i guarantee you hes still fitter than a few players who dont smoke at all

Smoking ain't the same, you ain't consuming cals, even though it ain't great for you obviously.

Rooney would have to work on some next level to hide his poor diet and even then he would still move like a slug cos the diets f*cked.

Looking at him I find it hard to believe there are lots of footballers with worse diets.

I put on weight easy, I also lose weight easy. At first I was like seven pounds is a minor, he can lose that in a week, then I thought but I went on holiday this summer and consumed sh*t and came back 2 pounds heavier but my condidtioning went to sh*t, so seven pounds is a lot, he needs to get his fat cells removed lol.

That's what I'm saying, yes he likes the shitty food, honestly, that's fine as long as he puts the work in to balance it out. During the season I agree he probably eats exactly the same, difference, as already has been said, he's truing how many times a week.

He's aware of his body type, so it's very simple, if he wants to carry on with his diet, he has to put the work in or else he will come back overweight every season. The gumption to go to the gym in the close season without being told, or having to boils down to SELF DISCIPLINE.

Bryan Robson was the biggest boozer and ain't the most shite by his own admission, difference was he knew because of that he had to work harder to stay fit.

Nationwide obesity epidemic is true, however this is not a epidemic among so called sports people, unless you believe what that guy said about Jess Ennis. Or at least shouldn't be.

I'm done with this debate now, half sure we're being trolled.

Even in the 2 pics I see a difference in Rooney, what he used to get away with is obviously catching up to him now.

But I notice it in Rooney all the time, this I why I made that comment few months back about Rooney sweating like Black man in Carnival after a few touches of the ball.

Not sure what Fergie's on about tbh, all the Liverpool fans I've ever heard talk about the issue claim that since Hillsborough they've not heard any Munich chants at Anfield or any Liverpo games.

(this includes four Liverpool fans on talksport this week and one who came on 5 minutes ago)

Fergie needs to get his own house in order Liverpool's clued up and sympathetic fanbase would never take part in such distasteful activities.

Idiots
