If united arnt gnna compete for cl with cesc why sign him for double the cost of feleini... When they will both do the same job apparently
Cesc has never been phenomenal... His best season in midfield was with hleb, rocisky and flamini doing all the things he got credit for and the season he scored all them goals he played behind the striker
Only trophies this guy has ever won has been as a sideman....
United don't play a 2 in europe
A next ting now.... Can someone please tell or show me games cesc dominated please ?
Man united don't need a scholes replacement they need a fletcher/hargreeves replacement
A center back
And then a rooney replacement (this is where players like cesc get involved) but defo not for them fees when there are tons more value out there
we need a ball winner,if carrick gets injured we will be f*cked, fellainis's perfornmance may be good as a CM but he plays better a further up
As such, it currently sees Fellaini making an average of 2.6 tackles per game, the highest out of any Everton player, with only right back Rafael (3.1) making more when up against the current United team.
There's your ball winner right there. His tackles per game dropped as a target man last season but it was still more than any of our midfielders and centre-backs. For the record, Carrick had 2.3, Cesc had 1.4(not a major part of his game but something to take into consideration for the guys that want him playing next to Carrick up against guys like Dembele, Yaya, Ramires etc. next season) and Gustavo had 2.5.
Gundogan had 2.3 tackles and 2.3 interceptions and would be perfect but unfortunately we're not linked to him and missed our chance to sign him years ago because there was allegedly no value in the market according to Fergie.

Nothing wrong with a midfield trio of Fellaini(destroyer), Carrick(passer) and Kagawa(creator).
but at the end of the day united need some1 to create in midfield, all jobs in centre mid is givin to carrick, carricks the one who breaks up play, carricks also the one who keeps the ball moving etc,
united need a creative cm and also a ball winner, mainly a creative cm tho
and thats not the point , if carrick was as creative as ppl think he would still be racking up assists etc, hes not, he keeps it moving, he plays it safe .....
instead of carrick doing a risky pass he would jus pass it out wide, thats his game

After Henry left, Cesc dominated all games for Arsenal, as everything ran thru him. So if you'd like me to name a lot of games, I shall...

By no means do I think Cesc is a better fit for United than Feillani.
I been backing the destroyer >>> creator argument for months, but the constant disrespect for Cesc needs to stop.

as much as i like carrick, he would rather "play it safe" than pick out a nice through ball, kagawa in the CM role will leave holes
carrick ,anderson or cleverly wont get u 10 goals or 10 assists from the CM role.
when was the last time a united CM got as much as 10 goals or 10 assists in a season???
