i've come to the decision that clubbing...and clubbers are far too cool now. it's all about listening to the "right" music and dressing a certain way. it's made clubbing serious and boring. what happened to being bouncy and silly and having fun in a club?
the real question is who is that beautiful creature to which is gracing my screen in yellow?

You know what you are right. It also depends on what type of crowds are attending the club because a club filled with Asians who all blindly listen to the urban music in the top 40 and nothing else and to act like they are bad is the dryest/shitest of all club nights.People are too self conscious in clubs, every man thinks they have to act in certain manner inside a club, too many mans just standing around doing f*ck all because they are scared they'll look like a prat. Also nuff man just wanna try and look hard so they make screw faces for the whole of the night. The rest of them get too over excited by Ayo Technology and them tunes there, tunes that they would ordinarily brush of as anyting suddenly becomes the jam because they are in a club.Clubbing = shite. (and for a whole bunch of other reasons also)
i understand what ur sayin tbhwhen the clubs ram out with asians, i cant have a good time i cant do itdoin dat stupid shakey shakey dance to everythingthe whole commercial thing is a killerim not goin if i see desi beats on the flyer, or any punjabi lookin named djim not goin if i dont see oldskoolg/bashment somewhere on the flyerhiphop/rnb, = asians

It's what you make it. When I go out theres nuff stunters, but don't pay them no mind. Enjoy the music and enjoy your company.
end of thread really.
Certain people go to Sound/Ruby Blue/Rainforest, and all them bait west end clubs, then go on like thats the be all and end all of everyone who goes clubbing.Full of d*ckheads in Airmax trainers and boy better know t shirts - I dont pay mind, but when I go to have a good time, and dress up nice, I dont wanna see some d*ckheads who look like theyre shotting DVD's in oxford street come in.Whether you like it or not, people dress up to go out.Llow f*ck*ng going in your tracksuit and t shirt and saying "Ah its all about how you dress, people are watching too much, this is sh*t"Course it f*ck*ng is - thats a main part. People want to look nice.If you wanted to not care and listen to music, jam at home with your bredrins, a set of speakers, and smoke.People go for the atmosphere and vibes.Personally, I find west end is sh*t nowadays - by west end, I mean all the bait clubs in Leicester Square and Picadilly.Moretime I go EC, Holborn, and other venues which arent full of d*ckheads.Switch up your venues and expectations and you will find half of what you complain about is only due to the clientelle of the clubs you go to.
thing is tho ppl in tracksuits and t-shirts wouldnt even get into those places so that statement aint valid. :D but i get ur point, BUT i dnt fink ppl who are going clubbin aren't doing anything different from what u are, they are gettin dressed up...but regardless its STILL an imagine/attitude thing, everyone wants pull of swagger infront of the girls and in der nice garms wanna look sick so they can catch girls attention...even in the less bait non west end venues, its STILL a image/attitude ting. my bredrin goes with the working crowd to rave in china white, embassy, funky bhudda etc etc all dem HIGH END mayfair type spots where celebs go....now ppl in these places are gna dress up properly, no riff raffs AT ALL. YET the atmosphere is still about looking good/showing off = attitude. even if u dnt have the bait rudeboys who start arms over little disagreements, the vibes is STILL a bit down cos of all the attitude. ppl are toooo worried bout lookin gd, moving chicks, socialising....its all too forced, nt natural at all.also attitude + too much alcohol is NEVER good, if it dnt cause fights it causes stupid behaviour, all of that killing the vibes.
Nah, these places are FULL of fakes - essex chicks who go down purely to f*ck footballers, Z List celebs, and pretentious d*ckheads. Its the epitomy of nouvea riche.I know what you mean still about vibes.Swings and roundabouts to be honest - if you go West End, you will get hype, and people going on like they are ghetto superstars. If you go China Whites, Funky bhudda etc, you will get essex girls and tight shirt wearing d*ckheads who try and portray an image of a lifestyle they cannot afford.Win some lose some.Theres a few gems still about, and its only these sort of places I visit to be honest. You will get certain venues that most west end/mayfair raver types dont know about - the places where people with REAL money go to.Moretime there is no snobbery, or pretense vibes there. These are the best places to go for a quiet drink/relax.Clubs though, you're always gonna get it I guess - Theres possibly 2 or 3 venues I'll go to which are good. The rest, nah.
ye ye those places are for the ppl who wanna pretend to be a-list and rich ppl, the "upper class off society" :D tbh i aint really in the know of clubbers and there fake image shite, wats genuine and wats posing.....argh so long f*ck all dat sh*t....i see wot ur sayin there are a few spots were ppl are nt gna be so on the image/attitude/showing off ting as much, but these days dem chances are slim. like gettin a needle in a haystack, its der but its all long cos its a rarity, and tbh the vibes are jus "ok" nuffin special, IMO anyways.....wen i was clubbin even in the most livest club spots i found i was more on the "relaxed dancing" flex, or sorta forcin the enthusiasm at times....the energy just aint there.insted of wasting time lookin for a decent club night to "sway about, get licked n gamble for sum gash".....why not just go to a dogs-bollox rave and skank till ur limbs fall off Dj Hype @ Fabric :D

Booooy I dunno what kinda clubs you go to fam.But the ones I got to are always live and most people aint on that I-BEG-TO-BE-CELEBRITY-hype.Certain gurls will buss same ish they wore the previous time.people just dress standard, its all about the vibes and everyone is dancing. none of that wasteman screwing in the-corner-flexAllow raving up west. Its too overated, fake wannabe celebs, too expensive and everyone is there to show off tbh..Cant remember when last I went west to rave up west. Probably carnival after party 05. That was probably the last time I gave a sh*t about what I was wearing to a rave...Its all about raving up in essex. Am noticing nuff heads from london reaching these ends as well. Trust its where its at.

I don't do clubbing for that very reason, too much of it is about fitting in with the image rather than enjoying yourself.I come out of the dance sweating from skanking all night, forget standing at the bar tryna look trendy.
too many people emulating their favourite rap stars' videos where they just stand at the bar in their shades looking cool expecting some model chick to notice them from half away across the room when they are grinding on a next man. Then the model chick ditches the bre and walks over to the guy at the bar and grinds him out of nowhere....and breathe.... lol
Believe me cuz it happens not everyone can pull it of so easily but it does happen
