tbh he didnt, the seasons were nowhere near as bad as people made out IMO. it was high expectation that he wasnt living upto and unsuprisingly. He was in and out of the side and suffered two broken bones, he was still playing well but was playing more cautiously and at times getting caught on the ball. he's never been sh*t for us. fair enough if it was things like 'i dont think he would do well here' but it was 'god no' asif it was bramble they were being linked with lol
