Amsterdam dude.

Literally the coolest city I've been to. So chilling. You can either immerse yourself completely in culture or just walk around and take it easy because the place is so beautiful of it's own accord anyway.

c/s. I'm going again in November I know it's always listed in different threads and stuff, but please can someone give me the best places to visit by this i mean best coffee shops, clubs, other places etc.. I was way too buzzin last time I went to remember much of what I done.

roll through Vondelpark if you can and just chill and have a blaze up there

I'm thinking of going back at the end of November for Innovation

C/S VondelPark. Awesome. Maybe one of the best days in my life there.

In terms of coffee shops:

Hill City Blues

Greenhouse Tolstraat

De Dampkring

Grey Area

De Rokerij

Were my favourites.

Other things to do -

Go to the Heineken experience (brewery tour)

For amazing pizza on the canal, go to Da Portare Via, it's right next door to a a great pub The Brandon.

For a great 'traditional' dutch meal (kind of a tapas thing) go to Blauw aan de Wal which is just west of Vondel Park.

Found a return flight to Amsterdam for £45.

But cos of the dates hardly anybody can go.

Dunno if it's a bit crap just 2 man going to Amsterdam together?

Depends how long you're going for. If it's a couple of days then that's not so bad.

going to egypt on the 23rd with the fam. i'm excited, these past few months have been stressful. we're staying up the top in taba heights and only there for a week so a bit too far to travel to see the pyramids, but i want to take a tour to the city of petra in jordan. it looks beautiful

Thinking about flying to Nice on the 1st of October for the Froch-Abraham fight, but easyjet's prices are annoying me - it's dirt cheap to go like 4 days before the fight, and same about a week after, but the few days around the 2nd of Ocotber are like £70 each way.

Who is planning a Florida trip with friends or family between October this year and Sept 2011?

good rates for a luxury Villa in Orlando are available

Minimum stay is for 3 days. PM me for a quote calculation & for link to view pics and more info.

Seasons

Low Season - January, February & November

$110 USD per night

Mid Season - March, April, May, June, September & October

$125 USD per night

High Season July & August

$145 USD per night

Peak Season December, Christmas, New Year and Easter

$150 USD per night

the amount per night is the total cost, NOT per person so, it obviously costs less the more you are.

Other villas will be available later in the year for Las Vegas, Atlanta and Miami.

Lemons and Kahuna, back from my travels (which inc. Thailand) a week on Saturday. however, I sprained my ankle 3 weeks ago and have I think I have just sprained it again so depends on whether I can fly :/

Anyone have any experiance flying with an ankle injury? Should I try and find a doctor or just risk it?

Google just telling me to keep it elevated and iced and to make even more of an effort to keep walking around the plane to prevent DVT but i got 2 3 hour flights next Monday and Tuesday before my flight back Friday/Saturday so I hope it dont get f*cked up even more. It had only just began to feel normal in the last couple of days ago and im on my way to a trek in the mountains. FML.
