lol why does Guillem Balagues method to breaking news always seems to be, 'it might happen but it might not, and the selling team has a deadline for when the deal is to be finalised or its off'.
Man is f*ck*ng clueless...Did you hear about him last night... At the Espanyol game he was wearing a shirt specialy made, Half Espanyol Half Liverpool.

Sky Sports News understands that Aston Villa have agreed a fee with Leeds United for talented young midfielder Fabian Delph.A number clubs had been credited with an interest in the highly-rated England Under 21 international following his impressive displays at Elland Road.Whites boss Simon Grayson confirmed at the weekend that two bids from Premier League teams had been received, but both were rejected as they did not meet the League One club's valuation.Manchester City, Tottenham and Everton were believed to be monitoring his progress, but Villa now appear to have jumped to the head of the queue. With an accord reached between the two clubs, Delph is now expected to travel to the Midlands to discuss personal terms with Martin O'Neill's men.O'Neill is determined to improve his squad ahead of the new season as he looks to build on last term's sixth-placed finish.

I guess the Alonso deal should be completed within the next 24hours... £27million rising to around £30million... Good bit of business IMO. Im sure if Rick Parry was here he would have gone for about £20mill. Sounds even better when you think last year he was on the market for around £18mil. So Aquilani in but im still hoping Rafa will surprise us and come with another top signing.

Guest Tulse Hill

Class player in League 1 then Lee Catermole would of probally moved from League 1 last year with them performaces for that sort of money given his age, so wheres that leave Delph? worldclass? nope but a solid player.

Leeds United can confirm that a fee has been agreed with Aston Villa for Fabian Delph.Leeds United wishes to place on record our appreciation for the honourable manner in which Aston Villa have conducted their interest in the player. The club has resisted approaches from other FA Premier League clubs since agreeing terms with Aston Villa.Having given Villa our commitment to transfer the player (subject to medical), we had no intention of going back on that.
Celtic, Wigan, Middlesbrough twice, Blackburn, and Newcastle all clubs we've bought from under the new regime that have gone out of their way to praise our transfer dealings.MON, Randy and Faulker>_

He gets it right now and again. Seems to have been on point with this whole Xabi Alonso saga.Still enjoying listening to what he has to say on football in general, with Graham Hunter and Sid Lowe (when it comes to Spanish football).Good move for Delph, had a feeling on the way to work while listening to the radio this one would go through. Villa is a good place for him to learn, got some quality youngsters also and a manager who will give him that chance.

this is the problem. he will go with the general opinion and people will think he has been right the whole time when he basically c/s'd someone elses news and opinion on the eventual outcome and acted like he had some inside info. dont mind listening to him talk about la liga in general but with transfer rumours he comes like them ppl that act like they know all about a player as soon as their team is linked, take the safe route and say what is most likely to be correct rather than what they actually know. hate that i have inside info but im not spilling what it is sh*t.
