Rooney, Heskey, Crouch and Cole are the 4.And I think I read Crouch hasn't trained this week. If he is fit though he defo deserves a start.edit: Carrick should play ahead of Barry/Lampard today and swap on Wed.

True - but Defoe, Owen, Walcott and Ashton are not there. If Ashton ever gets fit and back on form for a sustained period he'll play the Heskey role I reckon.

James,Brown, Ferdinand, Terry, Cole,Walcott, Lampard, Barry, Gerrard,Rooney,Ashton.

I reckon that will be the the team for the World Cup fitness and form permitting.Perhaps Foster will get in if he can get into the yanighted team.the likes of Owen, Defoe, Young, Joe Cole, Carrick, Lennon, SWP, Crouch, Heskey, Beckham in reserve.Englands future isn't as bad as made out IMO.
