and to be honest (saying this through gritted teeth)what Flojo said actually holds relevence our group form was patchy at best in what wasn't an amazingly hard group the games against Porto were not great and they aren't particularly good.We beat Arsenal granted but whatever,Barca a harder run in to the final and played the better football throughout.can't begrudge them this at all. we've still had a very good season and if we were scouse we'd be gloryfying it and calling it a legitimate treble. if you offered me what we've got now at the start of the season i would've taken it being second best team in the world to them isn't anything to be ashamed of roll on summer signings and next season we could be stronger still.
