I really don't understand why everyone is convinced that Cahill is the defender to push us on, he just isn't. I would rather prefer someone like Samba.
I dont think anyone is convinced, but many think Arsenal should take him as he would appear to add the qualities Arsenal appear to lack. There would be more calls for Samba by the general media if he was English.

Ashley's a great little player and definitely ready for the Champions League, but I'm not sure he'd fit in with your style of play. However you do need a more direct threat (he's streets ahead of Walcott as a footballer too).I just think he'd suit Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea's style a little more.

How much could we get shipping out Denilson, Diaby, Almunia, Rosicky, Squillaci & Bendtner?I see 30 mil minimum there, add that to what ever we do have to save this mess and I'd be happy signing 2 TOP QUALITY players and bringing a few more through to the first team.

We are crying out for another direct runner, (who can actually move with the ball) I was thinking Gervinho the other day as another option, as both are in similar contract situations, but Young is Prem ready, rumoured Arsenal supporter, gets 9 goals a season, and IMO wouldn't mind being rotated.

I don't see that much value in them tbh.Denilson 5-8m, however I think he will be loaned outAlmunia 2m, however we would probably have to pick up % of his wages, so we may a well say a free.Rosicky 3-5mSquilaci 2-4m, his contract is until 2013Bendtner depends on what country we sell him to & if Newcastle really did make a 15m bid for him on deadline day.Not even gonna think about Diaby value as Wenger ain't selling him.

Lol at this flawed way of thinking, this would set us back 3 yearsWe flopped coz the squad players aint good enough, so u want to ship out Internationals and replace them with Lansbury, Watt, Jet, Frimpong, Eastmond, Coquelin. Sunu, Afobe & Vela loolWe need people like Barton, Jenas, Pienaar, Samba, N'Zogbia, Rodallega etc these are the players he shud / shudda been looking atId take Charlie N'Zogbia ova Young, Ashleys main strength is his delivery, we dont have a no.9 to finish his crosses, Charlie is more of a direct goal threat, I rate Young but nah he wudnt suit us..plus hes bes position is in the hole imo with license to roam to either flankYoung to Utd and we should take Nani, now that would be superb business

:D at Nani being sold to us.TBH he didnt suggest the reserve/academy players, I think he want us to buy better than our first XI and push them down to squad roles. Remember he dont think Song or Djourou is good enough so there no way he suggesting Eastmond, etc...I thought about N'Zogbia still, but then thought against it. You and this constant Barton/Rodallega/Jenas ting must stop btw.

bringing a few more through to the first team.
Bringin players through frm youth / reserve level 2da 1st team is what I thought he meantIf Cleverly is going to Utd then N'Zogbia can play for Real Madrid, Rodallega >> B52Our 1st team needs 3 faces but that is debatable, I say GK, CB, CM but you could say a wide man instead but again debatableThe main issues has been our lack of strength in depth, i.e the squad is not good enoughWe need players between 27-32 who can do a job, people who have played champions league football and have international caps, hence why im saying these names..David Platt in 97/98 played a key squad role, people like Edu, Kanu, Wiltord, Bergkamp, Vivas, Grimandi, Bould, Keown, Parlour etc played very important roles in terms of being squad players in our glory days, this is what we needWenger tried 2be smart and replace the seasoned pros with his young-guns and its not worked, time for a change now, get Jenas & Barton in

You know what I didnt see that, I really must read some posts properly. Boy I dunno... Unlike him.Cleverly is United's player tho & he won't actually play much next season IMO. Yeah he could they had Faubert playing for them too. I'll let Gael Clichy's Pocket address the Bendtner comment.Yes 3, if not 4, CB, CM, LW & a striker, or at least an attacker that can genuinely play there.I think the depth is there, just the depth has limited variation/experience.You named a bunch of players that have about 10 international caps & CL games combined tho.
