hate it when people sign off emails with

'best'

or

'ta'

you are at work, you are senior wtf is ta? and best

really angers me, cos i dnt kno why they do it, who told them it was ok, is it because they are in senior positions

it is not correct etiquette

best,

vicky

lol nah its the ones that sign out with the first letter of their name

Thanks

M

the f*ck is that your not a member of the x-men

actually you know what does piss me off is the way nobody in this country can pronounce my name

first day with a new teacher going through the register was always so embarassing in school. "yuri ...oh God"

what is it like Yurishmikov or sutin?

lol

yuri is a first name

most people can handle that (although loads of morons can't), but my surname is a problem for most people

My bro got the same name. People can't pronounce the R properly in this country.

Everytime we got a new teacher at school they just stopped when thy got to my name. Most didn't try to attempt it thankgod.

i found as i got older people could pronounce my first name a lot better, prolly coming in contact with smarter folk

c/s school days being a pisstake any time a substitute teacher would take register n get to my name, the pause, "erm im not sure if im saying this right", the laughter from the cunting kids, the anger as i tell her how to say it

the amount of time i hear "ooh thats a name nice where is it from" "i dunno my mum made it up" lol i still tell me my she should have opted for joshua n saved me a lot of hassle

Still go through this now, have to say my name on average 3 times to people I first meet. About 5% of people I've met have pronounced it correctly the first time.

It's clearly not an English name so why are you pronouncing it in an English way :/
