people dont really seem to understand

the album is not for you, its for them

its the upshot of all his graft up n til now

a chance for him to crossover to the late ones, put a product in their hands they can buy, hold, and most importanly understand

 

from a creative or critiquing perspective, this album needs to be tight, well thought out and a perfectly distilled representation of what he's about - but you;d leave those tracks off?

 

people will sing the same old "heard half the tracks already" song til the cows come home, but this is an opportunity for Skepta to confirm his legacy, not play to people who live on the net and dont pay for his music anyway
