As of 14th July Bitcoin production will halve. So its value could stay the same, depreciate or likely surge like a couple years ago when it hit the 1000dollar mark

Don't know why people don't store bit coins locally on their HDs . Allow leaving any big amount of coins in exchanges or in online wallets, they are a massive target for hackers.
