Gravity was brilliant with the effects. Didnt think it deserved all those awards though.

I think they got it all about right. I would have liked Fassbender to win, but Mathew Mcconaughey and Jared Leto were both really good in Dallas buyers club so I can't really argue. Fassbender would have definitely won any other year though. But Jared Leto was really, really good.

It could end up like the Scorsese effect (coincidentally), he'll eventually win won when it's not for his best role, like Scorese winning for The Departed (a good film in it's own right).
