Witnesses claim the producer pulled up in his car at a video shoot in Compton, California, before being embroiled in an argument and then driving away

 
Music boss Suge Knight is alleged to have run over a man leaving him for dead following a fight in a car park.
 
Witnesses claim the producer pulled up in his car at a video shoot in Compton, California, where rappers Ice Cube, The Game and Dr Dre were filming an advert.
 
Ice Cube tweeted from the scene of the shoot moments before the incident occured.
 
 
According to reports Knight, the founder of Death Row Records which Tupac Shakur found fame with, was set upon by two men.
 
As he fled the scene he reversed his car in to his friend Terry Carter.
 
Paramedics were called but he later died from his injuries.
 
Another man, Cle "Bone" Sloane, who’s appeared in "Training Day" and "End of Watch”, also suffered non-life threatening injuries.
 
The accident comes less than six months after he was shot six times during a club appearance with Chris Brown,.The 49-year-old also almost recently died from a blood clot.
 
A spokesman for the Compton Sheriff's Department said they are currently searching for the culprit in a hit and run.
