After the Bebe signing

Welbeck will be playing for Hereford utd in 2 seasons

dunno about Hereford,

but in my opinion he wont be giving a fair shot at United sad really because i think he shits all over Macheda and we'd have a local player for life

hope he does well on loan,

u said no to lljajic for 10mil

and yes to a plyer who has only ever played in the portugese 3rd division, except 4 pre season games ??

the portuguese 3rd div must be equivalent to semi pro football here

cant even think if this type of transfer has been done before

will be intrestin to see how this turns out

lool

Lijac has looked sick in pre season

But to be fair the lower leagues in Europe are a betta standard than some Championship and deffo League 1

English football is so sh*t coz theres no quality control and they have bare leagues

Semi pro (confrence, blue sq, ryman, essex) ova here is glorified sunday league

We was rushed into buying him a year early(just like Nani, Anderson, CR9 etc.) because of interest from other clubs. The plan was to watch him for a year then sign him but Real(because he has the same agent has CR9 and Mourinho) and 2 other clubs found out about him and placed bids so we had to move now.

I'm still pissed we didn't sign Ljajic

Just for you Kompressor

Sir Alex Ferguson fears the ongoing campaign against the Glazer family could wreck Manchester United's bid for glory.

Determined supporter groups are keen to step up their efforts against the Glazers and the latest protests against the Red Devils owners will be on display at Monday night's encounter with Newcastle.

Despite having an estimated 4,000 season tickets available, United have sold out for their Premier League opener and Ferguson has called for unity, while defending the fans' right to express their feelings.

"One situation clouds the new season and that is the continued opposition to the Glazer family," Ferguson told United Review.

"I have no problem with the green and gold campaign. Fans are entitled to protest as they see fit. But not to the detriment of the team.

"The fact is that the Glazer family own Manchester United and until such time as they decide they want to sell, they will stay as owners regardless of the opposition.

Mired

"So it comes down to the extent of the protest. What I don't want to see is Manchester United mired in so much controversy that it deflects our purpose of winning matches.

"Whenever we have had success it has been a collective effort with everyone united - management, players and fans. How many times have I commented in the past about the need to pull together?

"There is no doubt that players respond and relish support. We have had some great European nights at Old Trafford and I wouldn't like to see anything develop that would diminish that kind of backing.

"I see that one of the protest groups has come up with a slogan along the lines of "New Season, Same Goal".

"I know what they have in mind but I just wish they meant that once again we will all be united, busting a gut to win something big; in that sense it is not a bad slogan."

what a guy

holdtite Fergie, the bastion of knowledge wisdom truth and memory.

the same twat who's always going on about the lack of atmosphere at OT. the one thing the Green and and Yellow campaign has brought to OT is a improved atmosphere.

if anyone thinks Patrice Evra gives two f*cks about the fans campaign then they're on cloud cukkoo land and need a reality check.

When it comes to Fergie and his oppinion on the ownership of the club, his views are irrelevent. he should keep his mouth shut and not comment on anything to maintain his godlike standing with the fans who see him like that,

as i've said on many occasions the one reddeming feature about the Glazers is they've never told any of us any lies, they've been quite upfront about their bastardry.

the lies and bullshit have come for Gill and Ferguson, Gill you'd expect it from but the other guy should have more self respect and more respect for the fans.

but clued up fans have known what his games been for quite some time now.

tis a shame.

this is the same prick who championed the oppinions of the fans and the protests when Magnier and Macmanus were threatening to takeover. what a turnaround

great manager but as my sig outlines a truly dispicable c*nt of a human being

Sir Alex is more interested in finsihing his life in Racing thats why he don't care too tough about Man United or improving the squad any more, he's not going to buy anyone and leave them with a new manager.

This was his last crop and still is, he has left a legacy in Giggs and the future in Rooney, he wont be around for much longer and is taking this squad as far as he goes, he knows Horse Racing is the life, sitting out side in the sun with your larger landing punts with your boys is too much to turn down.

Portugal national coach Carlos Queiroz has revealed that winger Nani threatened to 'jump out of the car' in a bid to prolong his doomed World Cup dream.

The Manchester United winger was forced to sit out Portugal's campaign after sustaining a shoulder injury in training just days before his team left for South Africa.

Nani still travelled with the Seleccao to Magaliesburg, where their training camp was located, but he was ultimately ruled out of the event and replaced by Benfica midfielder Ruben Amorim.

And Queiroz has claimed the talented wide man was prepared to go to astonishing extremes to remain with Portugal and play his part in the showpiece event.

"He knew about it [the injury] immediately, it is just that his psychological reactions were extremely painful and complex," Queiroz told Expresso.

Despair

"When we went to get his first X-ray done, Nani, in an act of despair, grabbed the car's stick shift and said: 'If you take me there, I will jump out of the car right here on the highway.

"He was determined. His passion and desire to represent Portugal had no limits. It was his World Cup, at the age of 22.

"He would ask me: 'Coach, give me two days, two days and I will be fine'. He refused to accept that the fracture existed."

Nani admitted to Maisfutebol/TVI: "It was the worst moment of my career. I cried because missing out on playing in the World Cup was very difficult.

"For me, football is life but the unhappy days are behind me and I have recovered from the problem. Now I am fit and have high hopes for this season."

Hes starting to grow on me (no homo)

Fink hes going to tear this season up

Ryan Giggs has set his sights on taking over the Manchester United hot-seat from Sir Alex Ferguson when he hangs up his boots.

The 36-year-old has won every major club honour on offer in his 20 years and now says he would like to manage the Old Trafford club or take on international management with Wales when he calls time on his illustrious playing career.

Giggs has already started taking his coaching badges and, if successful, he will follow former United team-mates, including Steve Bruce, Mark Hughes, Roy Keane and Bryan Robson into management.

He told the News of the World: "My aim would be to manage either Manchester United or Wales."

He continued: "I don't think I'll know whether I'll cope with the aggravation until I've finished playing and say, 'what do I do now?'

"Football is such a massive part of my life and to just stop in your late thirties and do nothing is tough.

"Even though there is so much stress involved, I think a lot of players become managers and really enjoy it.

"I think Roy Keane really enjoys it."
