Pisses me off. It's absolutely disgraceful how he and Tevez can't speak the language.

Especially Tevez, this is his 5th season for crying out loud.

The Manchester United manager and 15 other elite European coaches, including Arsène Wenger, Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho, were asked by Uefa to vote for the club goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward and footballer of the year.

Forbidden from selecting Edwin van der Sar, Ferguson chose Cech followed by Victor Valdes, of Barcelona, and Julio Cesar. The Inter Milan player won the goalkeeper section by a landslide (only Van Gaal and Ferguson failed to give him top points). Even Wenger, not known as a great judge of glove-men, nominated Cesar, just ahead of Iker Casillas and Pepe Reina.

As best defender, Ferguson backed Samuel ahead of Lucio and Maicon, ignoring his former player, Gerard Pique. The Barcelona centre-half, exceptional last season, finished only three points behind winner Maicon overall. For his leading midfielders, Ferguson picked Xavi, Wesley Sneijder (the overall winner) and Cesc Fabregas while Diego Milito, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were his forwards. Milito cruised to the Forward of the Year and Footballer of the Year titles.

Mourinho, though, voted Bastian Schweinsteiger his Footballer of the Year, while Wenger went for Messi.

In Van Gaal’s eyes, Wayne Rooney was superior to Messi and Milito as Forward of the Year and Footballer of the Year. No prizes for guessing the Barcelona coach’s Midfielder of the Year. Come on down, Cesc Fabregas.

Silly awards.

World footballer of the year is a farce when it comes to voting it becomes a popularity contest(international managers and captains)

Last year Terry voted Drogba Ballack in his top three meh.

Ferguson really sees what he wants to see.

Lol, fergie gassed up the whole green and yellow brigade by saying, dont worry we dont need another modfielder, we've got Gibson and Cleverly, who will make bug impacts this season.

LOL, Giibson hasn't featured this season, and now Cleverly's been shipped out, on the last day of the transfer window, If Bebe aint in the 23 i'm gonna LMAO.

As i been saying i expect the current invisible green and Yellow campaign to become very visible after our 1st home defeat or very poor performance.

"Last season we had no money at all," Paxaio told the Daily Mail. "We were trying to transfer Bebe to other clubs.

"We had to raise money desperately. We told everyone in England and in Europe: 'For 150,000 Euros you can have him'.

"We couldn't get anybody interested. Nobody trusted him. None of the clubs were interested because he had never played at a high level."

Bebe, who terminated his contract with Estrela and moved to Guimaraes on a free transfer in the summer, earned £12,000 a year with the third division club, the same sum he now takes at United in a week.

Them value for money signings there

lol just read Bebe's wiki page.

Bebé is the son of Cape Verdean immigrants and is now the third player of Cape Verdean descent to join Manchester United; the others are Portuguese international winger Nani and former Swedish international Henrik Larsson.[3] He was given his nickname, which means baby in Portuguese, by his older brother.

Bebé was raised by his grandmother in a rough suburb of Lisbon, until the age of 12 when a court placed him in the care of the church.[4] He moved to the Casa do Gaiato shelter in Santo Antao do Tojal, 20 km outside Lisbon. [4] During his time there, he and seven other residents of the shelter were invited to play for the CAIS team in the 2009 European Street Football Festival in the Bosnian town of Foca.[5][6] Despite Bebé scoring 40 goals in six matches, CAIS did not progress beyond the second group stage of the tournament.

It was alleged that Bebé had participated in the Homeless World Cup, but these reports were found to be false. He was considered for selection for the national homeless squad after his performance in the European Street Football Festival, but he ultimately did not play in the tournament.

lulz.

did he play or get on the bench for the reserve game last night?

Coz im not buying this byllshit about him not being fit. As he played a full preseason and if he is lacking a certain ammount of fitness surely a run out in the reserves will do him good, i cant imagine him being any worse of than Anderson or Ferdinand.

At least with the Dong transfer SAF knew what he was doing and bought a player from a region he was told the club would try to maximise profits in, however the Bebe deal makes no sense, as i cant see shirt sales being a big business amongst the homeless communities in Portugal.

Unless off course they're looking to make a feature length movie about the life of the Tramp turuned semi pro footballer, turned 1st division portugesse player, turned premier League contrnder and possibly future European cup winner.

That could be big business.

On the other hand the senule lying f*ckwit we have in charge mightve just been led up the garden path by Quiroz and a unamed faceless scout, who fancied pocketing abit of money for themselves
