The not snapping up Hazard thing isn't something that only Fergie is guilty off, I'm sure probably every manager is kicking themselves about.

It's not the snapping up that is the issue, it's the developing and progression.

There is that as a question but in this case (Hazard) I dont think it applies.

However while its a question, United fans can't have it both ways, Arsenal are the nurturers but also the perennial big time bottlers.

You could question with 4 games left, would the squad of last year have seen the title out better than this lot? Would O'Shea have looked as sheg in a Manchester Derby as Phil Jones did? Would Wes Brown have defended so poorly as Rafael against Everton, van der Sar/De Gea...

Pedro cant really be classed as a 'youngster'...Hes like 24 or 25, played and scored in all the biggest games there are.

Hes a top player already, was being 'blooded' in about 3 or 4 years ago.

i dont think thats a fair or realistic statement to make of anyone. circumstances and the manager dictate the chances you get not the country.

Fabregas and Macheda are two very continental players who would both say their careers wouldnt have accelerated so fast if they stayed home and im sure there are plenty of others who aren't in my mind.

It might not apply to Hazard but it applies to Pogba and Morrison in our case, they coulda been the next big things, might still even go on to fulfill their potential.

Wenger has got the balance of youth and experience totally wrong though, until this season that has never looked like a problem at Man U.

In previous years your young players have either been too young or English.

This year your youth players I saw guys pushing to see promoted have been Pogba, Morrison, Tunncliffe, and Fryers, but the first two being the main ones.

Now being English plays a role as kids like a Cleverly at 18-19 will drop down a domestic English league to play ball. Like he did when he went Watford two years ago. It's nothing to them, they probably even embrace it. I doubt Pogba has or had any intention to do that, thats not why he came to England...

Which brings me to Morrison, who's troubled past probably made a Championship manager think of what benefit do we gain by loaning him and then having the baggage he might bring to our club, yes West Ham signed him, but would they have loaned him? I doubt it.

However the key issue is Pogba and Morrison should have started Carling Cup games... But Fergie built a squad of too many experienced players on higher wages than both that have to by purely ranking get match time.

He would have got no game time, no risk taken on him, loaned out to some league 1 side and forgotten about and ended good for Sunderland or Bolton
