“I’m thrilled,” Moyes said. “I got wind a month or two ago that it could be a possibility and I never really believed we’d pull it off. As I’ve been saying, I didn’t think we’d get a chance to do much business in January. I didn’t think the players would be interested

Guy's a clown.

But if Man U get the players then the team will play itself, might actually turn out to be a good thing.

Plus I'm not sure Adnan woulda been kicking ball if Fergie was still manager.

Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie could return for Manchester United's Premier League encounter with Cardiff at Old Trafford after training on Monday.

Rooney has been missing with a groin strain since the New Year's Day defeat by Tottenham, whilst Van Persie suffered a thigh problem in the UEFA Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk last month.

However, both are in contention to face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men on Tuesday night, along with £37.1million new-boy Juan Mata, who is set to make his debut.

"They have all trained today," said United boss David Moyes, who could also have midfielder Marouane Fellaini back after wrist surgery.
