Interestingly, Fergie watched the game on Tuesday with one of his friends (Tv presenter in America. Can't remember his name)

Anyway, the guy did an interview the next day where he was very critical of both Moyes and the players. Whether that signals anything is anyone's guess.

Fergie will come out and remind everyone of his first season troubles and tell the fans to get behind him. uniteds 'class' will be mentioned by every ex player and he will get 2 seasons minimum.

/

Wanting your team to lose....to city and liverpool especially is inexcusable.

Would rather lose the hand.

that dosent make sense

if we went 8/9 years without winning a trophy the brand would surely suffer because of the that and would result in downturn of shirt sales

and being successful = more money

Worth baring in mind that this is a hierarchy that view Facebook hits/likes/follows as a highly important business factor.

They don't think a sustained period of mediocrity would have a huge baring on shirts sales, tourists and day trippers....

A man said success isn't Manchester Utds number 1 priority?

The way Barca for example are run mean that the people running the club are very much held accountable by the fans and lack of success will se them voted out. Do their only way of appeasement and keeping people happy is trophies.

Manchester United are run by people who are in it to make a certain amount of money each year.

Meaning hypothetically/theoretically if it was possible to earn more money coming 3rd in the league than coming 1st. They'd be happier with 3rd.

You see it in another guise every season where teams would rather secure 7/8th/5/6th place respectively than have a good FA cup/Europa league campaign. When challenged as to why, people cite there being no money in those competitions....

Money>> Trophies in certain minds.

But it's the same old story, the people who don't think the team should be built around him and those that do are today apart at each end of the scale to see it objectively.

(That said, he definitley should've bed played more often. DEFINITLEY, but I feel that the more he doesn't play the better he becomes)

Disagree with this totally, out of all the players at the club he should be one we are building our team around

He can dribble, create space for himself/other players, can press, can slow down or increase the tempo of the game at any given second, can pass, shoot, drift in, drop deep, drift out, retain possession etc

Nobody is saying he is Iniesta or Zidane

As #10s: Kagawa >>>>> Mata >>>>> Rooney

He should have been the glue to tie together our attacking players like RVP, Welbeck, Nani to the CMs like Carrick and Cleverly and allow us to play a more progressive game and be more competitive in Europe

I fail to see how any rational person who watched him at Dortmund, has listened to former team mates, Klopp, Japan manager, our players in training, Fergie, watched him for Japan, watched him when he has played CAM for us can honestly disagree with this

People keep saying how productive Rooney is number wise in that position but that is because he takes so much away from other players, Kagawa irrc had very good stats at Dortmund and still managed to help increase his team-mates contributions too

It is a travesty

Posted on twitter earlier today by the co-host of the "beyond the pitch" podcast. @Malachians: Fergie watched the match with Charlie Stillitano yesterday, Charlie laid into Utd and Moyes on the radio today. Hmmm.

Following convo.

@Malachians: @mufc_75 was saying Moyes not good enough and the team was shocking etc

@barneyrednews: @Malachians Fergie hasn't been on their show for a while has he? That in itself is interesting.

@Malachians: @barneyrednews exactly, he's been very quiet since December

Manchester United first-team coach Phil Neville has revealed they are trying to manage Adnan Januzaj carefully so that he can maintain his rapid rise.

Januzaj has been one of United's shining lights this term in what has been a disappointing campaign, with the 19-year-old bursting onto the first-team scene at Old Trafford.

The skilful midfielder was surprisingly left out of United's midweek Champions League defeat to Olympiakos, but Neville has defended the decision to give him a rest by insisting they do not want the youngster to suffer burnout.

"It's still early doors for him, though, and I think we've treated him right," Neville told the club's official website. "We've played him in games and we've also rested him in others and given him a bit of a breather.

"We have to make sure that in two or three years he's still improving and reaching the levels we hope he can reach. That's our job as coaches."

Neville admits no one at the club has been surprised by the emergence of Januzaj this season and he believes the playmaker has shown he can handle the pressure of playing for United.

"Everyone knew we had a special talent on our hands, but the real test comes when you play at Old Trafford," Neville added.

"So that was the question back in pre-season: has he got the temperament to play for Manchester United at Old Trafford?

"Well, I think he's answered that. You have to have the courage, the belief, the confidence, the determination to play for Manchester United - those characteristics are key to a player's success here and Adnan is no different."

Januzaj's played around 128mins of football in the last 5 league games. We had no league game this weekend and there’s an international break that he won't be involved in so he would've been able to rest anyway. It was a poor decision to leave him out of the CL game.

Who wouldn't jump at the chance to manage united. Imagine the possible recruitments before the season started.

Moyes was picked specifically for god knows whatever reason .

We could have had anyone. With Van Gaals ties to RVP 3hunna would either be forced to play ST or bench. Van Gaal knows playmaking.

It's all fairy tales anyways . We're Gna go through the CL at home to Olympiakos then the united hierarchy will turn around and say some bullshit about we got the right man.

I just can't get over David Gill saying over and over again, "we have plans in place to deal with the time of Sir Alex's retirement, the process will be STAGE MANAGED TO PERFECTION"

Then we hear that he convieniently fucks off just in time, and the Other managers were mentioned only to rule them out of the running, as Moyes was the "outstanding candidate"

I am not against Moyes per se, never have been as I've always said there are bigger underlying and clear problems that need addressing.

But the idea that David Moyes was the outstanding candidate for the job in the oppinion of the people who RUN THE CLUB, should scare everyone more than the fact that David Moyes is manager.

Van Gaal has the profile and the record but people shouldn't look at him as a saviour unless basic other shit at the club is sorted, I.E the widely reported "archaic Scouting, youth programme and player recruitment" which an Everton manager has been critical of also.

United are quick to tell theretical fans and commercial partners alike that this is the worlds biggest club. Time to start flexing in that way. Go to Dortmund and make them and Klopp and offer the can't refuse,

Out of interest who are the top 10 managers in the world in people opinions here.

We should only be looking in the top 5's IMO.

Van Der Sar

De Boer twins

Davids

Seedorf

Kluivert

Xavi

Valdes

Muller

He is ruthless and stubborn

He would having no problem alienating 3Hunna

Ask Rivaldo/Lucio/Luca Toni

Top 5 IMO

Pep

Del Bosque

Ancelotti

Klopp

Simeone
