I was looking at the myprotein site yesterday. Why is 2.5kg of that whey at least £10 cheaper than other places?

No frills basically.

Just comes in a plain looking pouch. Also dont think they spend much on advertising etc, so you won't see them in some glossy mag with a famous BB'er holding a shaker cup with their name on it. etc etc

as already said - its no frills. The quality is there but they just have the odd page here and there advertising in magazines not some mr olympia bodybuilder holding a tub etc.

Use this code MP108083 and you will get a 5% discount off your first order and ill get some sort of reward points for it (not a lot at all)

personally i would jump on this now as I dont think they have added the new VAT hence its still quite cheap

I bought some about a month ago and the price is still the same as then. (£14.99 for 1kg to trial Rhubarb and Custard flavour)

As for scoop i didnt get any in my bags (i only buy impact whey concentrate) mite depend on which one you buy but they are 65p each and yes the pouches are resealable. Their instant oats are decent too as they are powdered down and can be mixed with your protein powders to make meal replacements.

also compare to some of the well known brands on protein to scoop percentage

Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion is something sh*t like 61% protein per scoop (39g scoop has 24g of protein

Optimum Nutrition Gold Whey is the best at 82% (but price tag is crazy) (29g scoop has 24g of protein)

Syntha 6 is 50% protein per scoop (44g scoop has 22g of protein)

Maxmuscle Promax has 76% protein per scoop (30g scoop has 23g of protein) price tag is stupid

Where as Myprotein has 80%+ for a cheaper price. The branded ones (Gaspari and BSN Syntha) put a shed load of fillers in there to make it taste nice. I have had both and they do taste good but not worh the £45+ a tub with about 55 servings

Them pouches can be a pain if the tear off.

Had a few pouches, on one of them the resealable thing just tore off and stayed close on to the other side. So I had an open pouch, had to transfer contents in to other tubs etc.

If that happens with a full 5kg pouch, I assure you, you will be pissed off.
