Arsenal Summer Transfer Window

Now our transfer record has been smashed, hopefully there will be no reservations by anyone at the club to spend above 15m on signings, you can get a lot of good players for under 42.5m...

There will be strikers in January available, maybe not "super quality" but I think if they continue to prove in the Premier League, Wenger would look again at Benteke & Michu...

The problem with strikers imo and our manager, is it's clear Sanogo is gonna play, he's gonna get minutes and unless he STINKS the place out, he'll get four months of solid progression and if Giroud is progressing I think Wenger will be very hesistant to pull the trigger. What Giroud does in November but particularly December will be crucial... Those big games will decide his fate. Needs to bang outside of London too ffs.

where u getting this clear sanoga is gonna play idea from

Smh. Podolski out for three months, Chamberlain out for just as long, so unless Gnabry or Miyaichi or Rosicky covering the right to allow Theo to go central, who exactly is covering Giroud?!

and being that Sanogo has more minutes already than Gnabry and Miyiachi I see him getting minutes only thig stopping him is him getting injured.

Your not listening if Walcott goes central.

Your sticking players on the right who really shouldnt be playing there (Rosicky, Ramsey, etc...) add that, with question marks over if Walcott can even play as a central striker. For me its doomed to failure, it basically giving minutes to players at the unbalance of the team and the players.

To some extent the safer option is playing Sanogo and telling him to work hard, be strong, run around, play simple, lay it off and get Cazorla and Ozil to find Walcott running inside.

i dunno y u r talking like we haven't seen these things happen, know these things happen, and know these things will continue to happen in regards to walcott being striker and players out of position. thats normal.

i also dont understand the "not listening" comment like i need to hear anything you're saying like it's brand new information

what i said stands trust

‘It’s no secret that Arsenal and myself had agreed that I could leave the club during the 2013 summer transfer window subject to an agreement between all parties.

‘An agreement had been reached with more than one club this week but as Arsenal were unable to secure the services of another striker, they reserved their right to not sanction any deal to be concluded.

‘Naturally, I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to a new challenge, with a new club and a fresh start in English football.

‘Many things have been said about where my future lies after many years at Arsenal; the truth is I just want to play football which is when I’m happiest and Arsenal is a fantastic environment for any professional to apply their trade.

‘I still feel very strongly about Arsenal Football Club and following positive talks with the manager, I am looking forward to working hard to regain full fitness and doing my very best to help to the team and the manager fulfil our objectives and ambitions this season.

‘I’ve learnt a lot from my loan experiences at Sunderland and Juventus and I want to assure all Arsenal fans that I will give everything I have to contribute to what I believe will be a successful season for the club.’
