1st of she woulda held a firm beat when she did land on the scene, I think she was missing a black man still, she woulda got addicted to the doggy instead.

2nd "drugs" have existed for thousands of years, it isn't "wrong" to do drugs in the way you mean, it isn't particularly productive to society but the Incas used to get rat arsed certain times and still had a successful society so I guess the term in moderation is key here.

I don't do drugs, never have, I see drug dealers as vermin of society but I guess the real problem is how freely available certain drugs are.

Her songwriting and vocal and lyrics were exceptional, it's really really sad

real talent as an artist is to be able to re deliver that talent to the fans who made you famous in the first place in spite of personal sh*t .

theres tonnes of singers who did drugs and drink, but were able to get the hell up and churnout an amazing performance each time they got on stage, and keep on for a relatively good time.
