Worst managed festival I've ever been to.

 

This pic was the crowd of people trying to get on the boat that was holding the numbers/swamp party. At one point there were barriers like at theme parks but the sheer number of people meant fences were trampled etc. I spent about an hour in that queue because all my pals were already on the boat and didn't want to get off. 

 

 

Was even worse at the main gate, I was in the queue/crowd for about 2 hours, was actually hard to breathe due to crushing and they eventually had to let people through without checking tickets otherwise someone would of got trampled/crushed. 

 

Went through all of that for it to be locked off half hour later. 

 

They were then being proper cunts about issuing refunds.

I know one of the promoters, it weren't really their fault - someone bootlegged a load of tickets meaning people who bought legit tickets couldn/t get in, the queue at the entrance got so long that police made them let every one in, and obviously that meant the crowd was too much to handle.

 

They had to dissolve the company and lost out on BIG money. It's a shame, the venue was good and up to the point it got locked off it was live. I wont go this year, that lineup looks too technoey and I'd rather have house/disco for a day festival.

True. Looking at that line up, I can see Parklife just being reversed (Wildlife on Sat is Parklife on Sun, and vice versa).
